my player overall rating decreased ??

When playing the MY PLAYER mode I noticed that my overall rating is 64, but when I check the team roster it says
my rating is 56 (-8) ??
I'm guessing the -8 indicates 8 points subtracted from my original overall rating, but what causes this points subtraction ?

Does anybody knows why this is ? I have searched for this, but I couldn't find anything on this...

Team chemistry is possibly at 0% because of the games your team lose, also your player might think he doesnt get enough playing time and/or wants a bigger role

im also experiencing this kind of problem... im at rating 70 but i got -1 (minus 1) so its 69... i dont know whats the reason... my player got the starting spot, i got 41 minutes game time... what more can i ask? trade? salary? contract extension?

hope i could find the hex code for this one... Tsearch if anyone know please tell us, its not a big problem but its annoying

maybe your players injured or something..

I've checked and my player is not injured, and team chemistry is 100% ! maybe wins/losses could have something to do with it, as I finished season 1 with the Bucks and lost a lot of games.
now in my second season I transferred to the Magic, so wins should come easier now... at least with team chemistry at 100% this should help.

still, to decrease my overall rating by 8 points seems pretty drastic if that was just based on team losses... I am still wondering whether something else might influence this...

Did you change your player's position with any kind of editor? I dropped down 4 pts overall when changing form SG to PG...

I have a feeling in my case it was caused by losing my starting spot on the team... I didn't think much of this as I was coming of the bench while with the Bucks, then I transferred to the Magic so I was really amazed when I was starting for a couple of games, then suddenly I was coming of the bench again... given my overall rating of 68 or something I thought this was more realistic. But that's the same time my overall rating declined... now I have an overall rating of 73 and starting again, now I am able to hold myself and the ratings decrease is slowly reducing...
still I think this is too soon for me starting... but hey, I've been getting A games and been player of the game several times... so I must be doing ok.
