so does defragging your disk where you installed nba2k10 reduce your fps? because i defragged my disk in hopes of making the fps higher but backfired...so does it

If anything, it will help any application that may have been slowed down by fragmented files beforehand.
If you're getting worse performance afterwards, it's necessarily due to something else.
