Any way to update rosters in season mode?

Is there any way to use updated rosters for season mode. I just noticed that the rosters I download from 2kshare don't load when I play season.
It kinda sucks not to be able to have the updated rosters, hope someone can help. I tried browsing the other topics but cant seem to find any
fixes.

hmm? .. try to create a new season.. and your will use your current roster which is the newly download roster...

you could switch it so that you control all 30 teams and make trades or sign/release players as needed

@vashyoung, I tried creating a new season with the newly downloaded roster loaded but it it just went back to a default roster set up.
@JaoSming, I'll give that a try when I get to play again. Hope it works.
