Can't sign some free agents

I edited 2k's roster myself, so I waived James White (from Den), Desmond Mason (from Sac). When I start a new association, I cannot sign players like them. It says "He has accepted your offer" but still not added to my team. This only happens to these "type" of players, and I can still sign other free agents. Can anybody please help me?

I don't know the answer, but why not download the 11/17 roster, which probably doesn't have those guys on the team anymore?

i have this problem too, i downloaded new rosters and adjusted them to the opening night rosters by trading, releasing and signing players....but then i cannot sign the players i waived in the association...annoyng thing
