Questions + Controller for PC

Postby RJHNY1 on Wed Nov 18, 2009 10:54 am

Hey guys. I think I am going to buy this game for my PC tomorrow. I've been poking around this forum trying to find more about the game. The game sounds good, but I'm worried about the control issues people have mentioned.

1. I have a Logitech Dual Action controller. Is this sufficient for NBA2K10? I have never bought NBA 2K game except NBA 2K3 for the console. My last NBA game was NBA Live 2005. The Logitech Dual Action controller worked great for that game. So will it work fine for NBA 2K10?

2. Will there be a lot of patching for NBA 2K10? I know the game just came out a few weeks ago, but is there a big patching community for the game like there was for the NBA Live PC series? I've been poking around and haven't seen much as of now. I'm hoping there will be more patches and editors coming out over the next few months.

3. While I've seen mixed review for the game, it seems more good than bad. But are there any major issues that I should know of that I shouldn't buy the game?

Thanks for the help.

1, that controller should work fine

2, patching is only going to get bigger and bigger as the roster editor is being improved, jersey editor on the way, and the recently released 3d tool

3, online play sucks pretty much, this is supposed to be fixed in the upcoming patch, but overall it is a very good game
Opinions are my own.

Thank you Jao. Sometimes it's hard to get a handle on a game. IGN and other sites like that can be harsh in reviewing. Sometimes idiotic people that post user reviews nitpick and make a good game seem bad. From what I've been able to disseminate, overall, it's a very solid game with some issues. The hope is that with a new patch from NBA 2K and patching, the game will be great.
