Trading Problem

This might seem like a silly question but i'm new to the 2k range after playing live for a long time . I'm playing association in 2k10 and i can't seem to change the team i'm trading with, when i click the arrow next to the team name it doesn't change. I've searched arround and i can't seem to find anyone with the same problem! Can anybody help me? pleese!
