Fill the lane correctly?

All I know about filling lanes is that you have to spread the defense when on a fastbreak. I wasnt able to figure how to do it in the game. How do you get the 'fill the lane correctly' achievement? I always get it on the BAD list on my player.

During fast breaks when your teammates handling the ball. just run through the middle or one one of the sides of the court depending on where your teammates are.

Thanks for the idea. So knowing that, I think it would be really difficult to get that achievement a lot when you're playing PG since you're handling the ball most of the time? Or is it possible to get that while you're handling the ball?

Not when you have the ball. But I'm a PG and I manage to still get a couple of those. But there are games where there aren't any as well. Since I keep attempting to get rebounds, there's usually someone ahead of me. I pass them the ball and run ahead. That's enough to get that Fill the lane achievement.
