Way to ruin it for me 2k (N)

P.S. If you are an Association player, do NOT download this patch

Someone from OS suggested that you should turn off team chemistry and it will fix the issue.

As of the last I read over there at OS turning off turn chemistry has been shown to not fix the issue, that potential solution was tried and did not work. I sure as heck hope it gets straightened out before it is out for the pc community.

Really interested to see how this works. Heard it plays much smoother with patch #2, so I'm eager to see if this sim bug could be fixed.

From what I read earlier it shows up during the actual gameplay also, not just a sim stat situation. People are describing quick games, or association games where Shaq was taking multiple 3's, really hope this gets straightened out

Yeah, it doesn't fix it. :x I tried playing two quick games and so far I haven't encountered any crazy 3pt shot attempted by a big man. When a big man gets a wide space near the 3pt line or on the 3pt line, Im feeling really nervous that they might take the shot but luckily the wait for someone to pass the ball to.

Seems there is a temporary fix. Start a new Association with Team chemistry ON and player roles OFF & it's fine from a sim perspective. That covers sim, don't know about the gameplay side of it though.

That's all good & proper if you're willing to flush your current Association down the toilet, which knowing most people around here, they are.

You just have to go to Association/Dynasty threads & take a look. Most people change Associations/dynasties like they do underwear :P

Ahh well, it's not the end of the Earth & it's good some guy at OS has found a workaround as they won't release a patch for such a minor issue that affects a small proportion of gamers.

well i dont know if sony makes devs pay to patch their game like M$ does, but if they dont, they could be fixing that issue in the 360/PC patch and then releasing a third patch to fix that issue on the PS3

I certainly dont wanna trash my association :/ I play 82 games 12min/q, and it's only about 15 games left till the playoffs :/ I would like for 2k to fix that issue before releasing the 2nd patch for xbox and THE PATCH ( :!: ) for PC.

If they do, they will just release a quickie fix for PS3, it would be just a few kbs, I think :)

Patch #2 out for the 360 now, problems seem to be the same as on the PS3.

It's like I've said again and again with these sports games. It seems like there's some demon on the development staff who makes sure something is always broken when something else is fixed. The games can never be perfect, or approach what many people think is perfect.

They give the gamers one thing, but disable or break something else in return.

Now many of the problems are fixed, but at the cost of having big men jack up lots of 3's.

As for the PC gamers, 2K folks guaranteed the patch would be out when the 2nd 360/PS3 patch was released. It's gotten to the point where anything a 2K admin or employee posts can't be trusted. They speak or write before they really know for certain, then complain about the customers "acting like children" when the paying customers complain.

Never, i think ! Next week, 2K Ronnie will come forward with the following words : "The devs told me, that there will be no Pc-patch for NBA 2K10 because of the limits of developing ressources. They´re in full developing of NBA2K11 for XBOX, PS3 and Wii".

It's not our fault that we complain about their passiveness.

you are choosing to whine about it....it's your fault.

the PC version is 1/3 of the price of the console versions and has maybe a tenth of the player base....why should we be such high priority? especially since nearly 90% of the PC users cry and whine about it rather than thank them and be happy that we have a modern game to play rather than friggin 2004 era PS2 port.

Maybe it's because I'm older than most of you but it is nice to just sit back and enjoy the gameplay and graphics of this game compared to the years of PS2 NBA Live-ness. I'm not saying 2k is just in delaying and being quiet on the patch, but remember on the 360 and PS3 it is comparatively easy to make the patch compared to the PC. With the consoles it's 1 patch for the entire console. For the PC it needs to be taylored to Steam, Gamersgate, DVD version, and any other distribution that came out. Nevermind that we are getting missing uniform and other files along with the update.
Opinions are my own.

What should I say...

Anyway,...2K is teh suckz, OMFG RLZ PLS!!!!11!!!!!!! (N)   (N)

But seriously, the game is great as it is. Besides the lack of 16:10 support (which will probably not be implemented with a patch anyway), I personally don't give a fuck about a patch, a few glitches here and there are not ruining the experience for me, especially for 20 measly bucks.

I'm not saying that I'm whining about it at 2k forums, I barely go there anyway, about 2 times a month and I enjoy the game as it is. But you know, if they get that many negative feedbacks from their users, and keep ignoring it all... Makes you wonder what they are thinking about.

What can I say, it's a good thing that we have nlsc and we can make patches ourselves :)

My Player and some other functions are downright unplayable without the proposed fixes. I hate waiting 5 minutes each time out for the retarded ref to inbound the ball.

I told you there wont be any real patch, once you understand the industry you will know what I mean. Play the game how it is, and wait on 2k11 and its problems or buy yourself a console and get the game on that...and even that isnt a true fix.
