Crash to desktop in My Player

So I've been playing the game with success throughout the My Player mode, created a character with no issue, so on and so forth.
I'm running Windows 7-64, with dual 9800 nvidia's and 6gb of ram, just so we get the specs out of the way.
My issue is this: I'm currently trying to get past my 5th game of the first team tryout, before you get thrown down into the D-League for the first year.
My games completed is at 4/5 and every time the 5th game ends, the game crashes to the desktop, at this point, it's mildly infuriating, and I'm ready to remove the game from my Steam Games list, out of frustration.
I've validated the game files, and everything is where its supposed to be.
Suggestions?

I manage to encounter some crashes like that... its 2 crashes with MY 2 POWERFORWARD player... i havent any problem with pg or sg even sf and c
leading me to desktop... looking at my cute wallpaper and thinking what the hell happen...

i remember to test it again and crash always happen... then i figured it out that... i have downloaded the latest roster pack... so i decided to removed 2k then install it again... but i didnt download any roster pack... im playing right now currently on the playoff second round and system is going strong so far so problem...

you i search 2k forum with this problem then i find out that... missing Coaches or fired coach make the system crash...

thats how fix my problem... its problem the roster pack you have... i just use the oldest one from a fresh installation and never to replace it with any roster...

I tried that out, but it still doesn't work, uninstalled the game, reinstalled it on Steam and tried again.
It's still crashing at the exact same point, so I thought that maybe it was being caused through the online thing, so I logged out of it, played through the game (AGAIN) and it still continues to crash. At this point, I'm debating on considering it a lost cause and chalking it up to 20 bucks lost, since the PC Patch doesn't seem to ever be coming out.

maybe on the first installation... try not to get online im not sure but its might be that by the first time you login the game downloaded a new roster pack T_T which will definitely broke your pc...

In video settings is player detail set to medium? I had this problem and that fixed it.

That hasn't helped either.
It's not a graphics card issue, as I can play through the entire game without issue, it's after the game is over, and I exit, that it crashes.
