A $3000 dollar graphics card and you get 70-80 fps? I have a $175 card and get 70. Play GTA IV and see how that runs. So can any of today's games take advantage of the 240 cuda cores? I hope you plan on becoming an engineer or designer so you can actually put that card to real work.

NBA 2K10 is more optimized than 2K9.

strange i find 2k9 better optimized than 2k10....i can run 2k9 with ease but 2k10 seems to chop a bit...

specs wise its not even that different from a GTX 280/285..its not even a gaming card..so if the card was bought for gaming then its a massive fail
as for the 240 cuda cores (though I think the cuda core term is reserved for fermi cards right?), there are games that use it of course..if not then why do people still buy GTX 295s and HD 5970s

you turned vsync-on i guess thats why..seriously even my rig can pull 80-90fps (from what I remember..coz i dont play with fraps on)
im really curious, did you buy the quadro for gaming or do you use it for quadro apps?
Fri Jan 22, 2010 6:22 pm
I used it for gaming and also in making my projects and i will try making CFs hehehehehehhe designs and graphics
Fri Jan 22, 2010 6:26 pm
Hahah lol i figured it out why nba 2k10 got only 80 fps its because in the control panel my settting are all set to high quality not high performance and when i try it to high performance the benchmark got 90-92 fps but downed at 70 fps weird eheheheheheh

I meant apps that take advantage of Quadro

you do know that Quadros have their much cheaper Geforce equivalent right? If im not mistaken the FX5800 is about the same as the GeForce GTX 280/285 and that gaming performance wise a GTX295 or the HD 5870/5970 would offer better performance for much less

i have 58 fps - resolution 1920x1200 max details (after editing config) and the game is unplayable beacause is too fast like arcade not simulating game - 70 fps
Fri Jan 22, 2010 8:07 pm
oh and 5Gb of RAM? quite an odd configuration huh?
