Rosters Lineups all Jumbled Up?

Playing MyPlayer on it's 2nd season and noticed that key/major/original players are traded and other "D-LEAGUE" type of players has INFILTRATED my team's roster, and now having a hard time winning. Can this be fixed?

What was your team ranking before & after you get "drafted"?

When i got "YANKED" by the 76ers from the D-League the team was 20 to 30 games into the season and was last place in the eastern conference, and stayed there until the season ended. Then i signed-up with the Nuggets, Noah was there instead of NENE', i eventually ended up as the starting 2-guard, later on JR Smith was traded for Mike miller, then 3 new UNKNOWNS were added to the team, making it harder to win games, while other teams got 4-5 superstars, it sucks bigtime. Does it really happen? or is there a way to tweak or configure the settings(w/out cheating) before you start a new career?
