No, you can't add patches to the xbox version.

It's not possible because the files probably don't have the same format, and how do you get the game to load the patches? You can't just replace the files on the disc since it can't be edited. Last time I remember looking at the 360 version's files, they used 4 or 5 very large container files, instead of the hundreds of small files that we have on the PC, so those would have to be extracted somehow, and of course placed on the hard drive and loaded by the game. The only way this would even be a possibility is if someone with cracking knowledge had the game the 360 and wanted to spend all that time figuring it out. Sorry, there is no easy fix.

That's incredibly involved, but it's possible, and only with a modded console. Basically, one would have to extract the entire contents of the game, modify an original file, import it and burn a copy to play with the mod. Maybe by modifying the hard drive contents after "installing" the game to the 360 hard drive, one could just edit those files.

The FIFA and PES modding communities are pretty big and dedicated along with some very talented programmers.

I think an easier way would be possible if someone figured out how the game loads files from official updates, like the Oklahoma City jerseys from last year, or the players from Dynamic DNA updates, although I am referring to Live, it's still the same concept. Those files are "signed" by Microsoft, so one would have to figure that out, too.

It's way too involved, and I would rather see the developers include more modding features in the game itself, since that would simplify the process, even though it would be limited. 2ksports already added a feature for custom arena music, so you can tell they are paying attention. Next steps would have to be custom cyberfaces and jerseys, and tattoos.

i know that PES or FIFA community is more biggest that NBA games (2K & Live) but with this two great titles of 2k sports many people are arrived and enjoy with a great simulation experience modding the game so maybe in near future can be that big like this communities, 2K have a master jor1980 so maybe he in some time decide explore on console version...and yeah would be amazing if someone can decipher how the game loads files from updates that will make a fantastic experience who love edit/customize his games! (like in PS2) at the moment for NG consoles only can with PES series. About future updates you are right next step for 2K series updates is Cyberfaces, jersey, tatoos and why no shoes and court!!! :cheeky:
here you can take a look of one of PES patch...PES xbox 360
few more tips about :
EQUIPMENT AND TOOLS REQUIRED TO IMPORT AND PLAY PATCHES
************************************************** *******
- Most importantly a Modded/flashed xbox 360
- Game graphic studio 7.4.0
- Clean iso of Pes2009
- Dual Layer disc (verbatims or Aone plus, make sure xbox360 compatable)
- Winrar or similar Program
- Imgburn or similar program
- Patch of your choice!

PD: im hope that in near time any programmer can able to edit Xbox & PS3 games
