So I was in my second NBA season with Orlando..
First season with Cleveland on allstar and then with Orlando on superstar diff..
Was 2 months in and my jumper got horrible, I couldnt hit anything with my 95 midrange.. I dont understand why it happened so I get angry for a few games chucking everything and playing badly and they send me to d-league
I mean wtf? Gone from Nba starter getting 42min to d-league getting 25min???
Put me on the bench or lower my minutes Van Gundy.. I hate playing 42min Im always tired..

Your player is still in its second year, I think he can still be assigned in the D-League if the team wanted to and you did go bonkers by chucking everything.
It's not like your player is a veteran like Sprewell or Marbruy.

That's what you get, chucker. How high is your consistency rating? Sounds like you are in a shooting slump. The teammate grade is what really keeps you in the nba, I think.

Its 92..
This is him:
http://community.2ksports.com/community ... gid=140875When will I return to NBA? I played 7 games in d-league.. Getting A+ easily and scoring over 50% of my teams points and all that on superstar..
Has someone heard that some team send a player to dleague and returned him afterward? Your never safe in this buggy game..

Lol, but in this game? 2K has not tested this game and anything can happen..I might be stuck here.. It took me like 5 games in d-league to get to nba in the beginning..
Is shooting slump a known feature or are you just saying that? I remember reading that others couldnt hit anything before

yeah shooting slumps do happen, your problem may be shooting off the dribble and Shooting in traffic plus consistency, they all play a serious role in shooting!!! I'm advise bringing up your shooting off the dribble, but you brought that on your self, just shooting everything!! If your guy is off get to the bucket, remember that this game does have the confidence factor also, if a person make a couple shoots consistently then there is a great chance they are start and hot streak!!

I posted my player.. I have >90 in all those categories.
Thats my style.. Kobe has 90med and 85 in dribble and traffic and he is great in mid-range game..And when I miss several open jumpers from that area in a row I get angry.. Like why did I spend all my points on his midrange game and he cant even hit open jumper..
I played 12 games in dleague getting A+ and getting player of the game every game but nothing happened so I went to an earlier save and now Im player of the month..
So there are slumps that carry over from game to game and not just hot/cold in single game? I didnt know that

On second thought, I just remembered a post from another forum talking about the inconsistency of the shot release timing comparing the shootaround mode and 5 on 5 gameplay. I checked my VIP viewer and it showed that I have a 98% perfect release on my jumper. There is something wrong here. I was never that good in 2K9, and I know that I haven't released 98 out of 100 jumpers perfectly. When I miss with what I think is a perfect release, I try a different release point, so that is wrong. There is also an incredibly early perfect release, as well as a top of your jump perfect release. I noticed it in shoot around mode.

I noticed that in shootaround I have 5 bars with 94midrange but in game 4 and in shootaround very late release is as good as perfect..
So there are a lot of fishy stuff going on..
Another thing is that when you increase difficulty, window for perfect release becomes smaller so its harder to do in superstar diff and combined with that perfect might not be the best release for all shots it makes it worse..
I play with Kobe shot and in shootaround I can get perfect like 75% and other times great.. My shooting is probably worse in game..
Is the difference between perfect and great known? Has that popped in discussion somewhere?
