Really Slow Gameplay

I just bought the game today (finally), turned it on, started a game, and the gameplay was incredibly slow. I ran 2K9 beautifully and changed the game speed to 100 and there was no change. Any thoughts?

Maybe I should clarify. The players, ball, and everything else look like they are in slow motion and its pretty choppy. Also, theres a late reaction time from when I press the button and the player does what I press.

Have you upgraded any thing on your computer lately? That happened to me once after I got a new computer but tried to keep the same Windows installation.

I did try changing the settings and it didn't work, but I'll see if I can play around with it a bit and see if it'll work. Did they change the suggested system requirements for this game from 2K9? Because 2K9 ran perfectly for me and now this is alot different.
