USER VIDEO THREAD

I Just got this game after not playing it for over 6 years... put together a few highlights with the TNT scoreboard mod. It still holds up pretty well.

2k10 and 2k11 were my all time favourites nba 2k pc basketball games.

even 2k10 has better graphics and ligthning than 2k12, 2k13 and 2k14.

The graphics are great.

It's fun to go back and play these games. Glad some of the mods are still available.

Wow. commentary is almost the same with nba 2k6.

I noticed that as well.

They also took out the awesome pregame presentation element from 2k9.

HOF difficulty.

I can't believe how solid this game is... I hadn't played it in so long. As with any game, it has a couple things that bug me a tad, but it is a really fun basketball game. Most of the highlights in that video could not be done in NBA 2K14.

It's a shame they didn't stick with that art direction after 2K10... 2K11 still looked good (Not as good, though), and it went downhill from there for last gen.

This is great! One of my complaints with this game is the force field defense thing. Ill be giving this a try.

And yeah, I'm trying to get ahold of the 91-92 mod so I can start an association with the Blazers and post highlights. I just downloaded the roster editor (and will be purchasing access to all the tabs), so I can make edits as needed.

I'd be trying to push out updates to the existing rosters (fix missing portraits, remove many fakes), but the IFF studio editor that would allow me to do it doesn't work with windows 64 bit. I have 4 CPU (3 towers, and 1 laptop) and I can't get it to work on any of them.

I'm frustrated.

wtf, tool from 2010 doesn't work with 64bit systems?

btw, have you tried with reditor? i though it was the main editing tool back then.

I got NBA2KX Mod Tool (2K12 Supported) 0.198 to work with windows 10 64 bit.

grab java link, If you dont have it allready (you probably do, though.)

After installing java, then install JAR_Runner link I had to install that 2nd to open the mod tool. that's how i got the mod tool working properly.

That's what i've been using to edit 2k10 iff files.

But I don't think this helps me with portraits, I'm not sure how this program helps me really...

I got the NBA2XMODTOOL to work, but I need to be able to pair portraits withe cyberfaces (because that's how this game works, portraits are attached to the cyberface) I can't do that with this tool or Reditor...

I got frustrated with the portrait/cyberface connection within the game, so I put it on hold. I'm not saying I wont possibly mod the game, I just need to figure a few things out.

promising news... i hope you settle things, because i really like 2k10/2k11 gameplay and graphics. yesterday i played it a lot (both vanilla and 96/97 mod), but truth to tell i can't see myself continue playing them without some new mods.
