can i ask what tool i should download to open the file name for the rim and it's stand?? and what it's file name?? ty

Download this tool, NBA 2K9 IFF Editor Beta 9.

Make sure you put the files in the "Bin" folder, and to drag them into the "Decompress.exe" before you actually open them with the editor.

You will want to edit the "sxxx.iff" file. The "xxx" is a number that is specific to a certain team, the numbers are:
