Question regarding processors

Postby 187 on Wed Dec 02, 2009 1:18 pm

Didn't really know where to post this but can anyone suggest a processor that would be able to run 2k at a high frame rate. I have 4GB of ram and 9800gt but I still can't run 2k10 at a respectable fps. With players at medium it maxes out at 30. Was looking for a quad core and was hoping if someone could provide a link to find some good ones at a fair price.

I got a Q6600 and it must be quite cheap these days (check newegg.com), it'll make it smooth as butter. Of course, your motherboard needs to be compatible.
