I need help on defense.

I cant find the option to make the players stick to there guy. I am trying to play defense and am smothering them but with 5 seconds left on the clock they do a pass pass and shoot everytime pulling the retarded asshole cpu ai on my team off there guy and leaving one of there guys open for a 3 about 50 times a game. It is really really frustrating and is making me hate this game. Really really really bullshit imo.

Double teams are retarded, if idiot Nate Robinson is guarding the center for whatever reason(small man syndrome) I manually select the center and go to him he just stand next to him doesnt go to the double team even if I press the trigger button. Then whenever I switch it leaves a open guy because the ai cpu on my team doesnt want to guard they guys rather run around chasing air on defense.

I cant imagine if I raise the difficulty. I already miss enough wide open layups and shots and the cpu makes it seems like every shot doing the retarded pass pass shoot with 5 seconds on the shot clock every damn time.

When the "small man syndrome" -as you called it, happens to me, i usually just get my big man to stand behind to get ready to alter the shot that was in 2k9 though

They dont shoot though they do a catch and shoot that never ever ever misses.

Then if I dont go to help they just make the shot on the inside anyway.

I have to agree with this guy, how the ef can anyone defend the cpu in any situation? If you stay on your man as their driving, the defense helps anyway even if you're in front. Then they kick out to an open three every time. It's like almost impossible to defend someone unless you get lucky and chose the person defending the shooter.

I would like to ask also if there is any way we can call a play for defense. I am tired of playing man 2 man and my ai teammates don't react the way it should. For an instance my pg got into a switch with my opponents pf/c and the cpu take advantage and go to the post. I try to help and go for the double team but my closest teammates don't react and put a guard on my man. I wanna play some zone.

That is a bug within the game lets just wait for the official patch to be released cuz they have already addressed this problem

turn off the help defense... let play man to man...

why... because double teaming for sure ... NPC will take 3pts... even if the shooter 3pts rating is 60 they will hit the ring 9 out of 10.... because they are NPC... and you dumb NPC teammate dont go back to defense immediately.. and i dont know why....

so its better if you get shoot by 2 points... because 3pts hurts more!

That is a bug within the game lets just wait for the official patch to be released cuz they have already addressed this problem

Thanks for this update. I usually just cry it out when this happens to me too much. Now I can atleast be happy about it not happening after a patch.
