one question, can I edit who is in the draft so as to be exactly like Zach/Misow's patch?!? for example, I want to get my 2007 draft class going (Paul, Bargnani, Ike Diogu, Diaz, etc, etc) into my dynasty....
can I just edit in the following:
"cdbflite.exe" players.dbf /case /filter:ROOKIERANK=0 /filter:TEAM=39 /field:DELETED="FALSE";NAME="Paul";FNAME="Chris";NUMBER="3";POSITION="4";POSITION2="4";SCHOOLNUM="???(whatever it is)";DSHOOTRANG="25";SCOREAREA="1";BIRTHDATE="198?????";DPLACE="1";FACEPATCH="False";ISGENERATE="False";PLAYERPKG="CHPAUL_";ROOKIEPKG="???(what will this be?)" /update
that would work, right?!?
all I need to do now is find cdbflite and have it work for me (as DBCommander and NBA Editor don't work for me) and I'll be fine....
nice work
you need to edit the numbers in the APPEARID to match your own

Thanks a bundle.
But, alas, a question regarding the ratings. If you post that kind of thing, will it be the ratings or the ratings found in this thread or the actual ratings so that you run the .bat after completed draft?

After a lot of experimanting the only way I have found to work is to put the ratings in both field areas... both the normal one and the one that is usually used to define previous stats, but for rookies has an effect on thier stats. Scottiegi's list of what each 'previous stat' corresponds to in ratings is accurate. So I would advise putting the ratings in both areas.

Gen. DWeaver99027 wrote:the ratings in misow's and ryan's add-on are pretty accurate in my opinion. maybe we can use those. All it would take is another notepad file with the numbers being corresponded to their respective fields... Although many more fields must be filled, so it will take much more time.
Now, being my day off from work today, I tested the patch and it works finely so far, with the date being accurate. I noticed only one anomaly... Sean Banks's height is 4' 2" with the patch , instead of his normal 6' 8" . So Seraph shpould wdit his post in the Sean Banks' line , in the field Height from 50 to 80. Just a typing error on his part, but produces some hilarious results:
No, Luke Walton is not a giant...
