sir how about the salary cap of the team... how can i edit it??? or where can i find it specifically?

The salary cap data isn't stored in the DBFs. You'll need to follow this tutorial instead.

No, there's no other way to edit the salary cap. The data isn't stored in any of the DBFs so you can't change it by editing any of those files; you must edit the .dat file as specified in the tutorial.

sir i found some difficulties in finding the right code...the code for the salary cap is D949 but there is no D949 in the file...

Sir andrew, where can i edit the default teamgear color of a certain team... Some of the teams of Albys roster has black teamgear in away for the reason that the socks can be black in away and i want to change it to there usual default color. Did u get my point?

For example, Nuggets wears white at home, blue in away and yellow as alternate as a default, instead of having only one color just to have a black socks.

Taking a quick look through the NBA Live 08 database folders, there doesn't appear to be one.

Yes, that method does work in NBA Live 08. I'm fairly certain that's the correct value.

In franchise.dat replace the searched-for current cap with the salary cap you want. Be sure to input it last two digits first, first two digits last (so FAFF).

You need to edit the CASH_YEAR value in players.dbf; that field contains individual player salaries. Please see the Players.dbf Editing Guide for more information on those values.

im sorry if this is the wrong thread but i just want to know since the seattle will now be new orleans,

and since live 09 wont be released for pc, is there anyone who would like to do the rosters and this time include new orleans for live o8?

Indeed, I've already made that change ready for the next update and thanks to some generous contributions, already have some updated artwork in place. We may not be able to do anything about the audio though, we're going to try and extract files from the PS2 version of Live 09 but we can't guarantee success at this point.

Andrew how do you think I would be able to make someone injured in my dynasty? Because there is no injury.dbf, I tried copying the values from a different player who is injured and putting into the injury ID but it does nothing. Any ideas?
