i would like a sim engine with realistic team stats and see the players stats can be adjustes with ratings.

As how i see it most players have high rebounding rating.

Like I have said before, the problem can not be fixed by editing the simengin.bin file. Remove the file and scores will be extremely low, but post players will still take alot of 3's and get alot of assists. That means that the problem can only be fixed in the nbalive08.exe file and only EA or a programmer who is very talented in debugging can improve it.

but what is the latest fix?
to me it is enough to have at least better stats in Rebounds, Blocks and the others. For now i don´t care if the three point percentege is high and the assists too. I saw that Kraudi had a good fix in this so can someone post the latest fix? and where do i have to do the fix? in which folder?

so if i use an NBA Live 07 simengin would that work?

i have alread tried to use the simengin of 07 but with no luck.

I downloaded some of these files you guys worked on and put them in the tuning folder and there is no difference in the simulated games... :?:

I don't think we'll ever get realistic results by editing ourselves... and it seems EA won't give us an official patch... :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil:

I'm one of those guys who prefer sitting in an armchair, chilling and watching how my team is doing to only playing myself. That's why realistic stats are absolutely crucial to me. It's so damn annoying to see that EA Sports doesn't care at all about those ridiculous things, don't need to mention the particular deficites again. However, I still won't give up hope and want to give my props to the guys trying to solve these issues, especially Pdub, Jimmy, Kraudi and Lagoa :)

i think i can fix the assist problem,

but I tied to lower the PPG for player when they play around 35mins, other dates can also be well adjusted,

now I just balance all dates when main player play around 30mins, the results the team block, and steal is higher then real dates.

If there are any one can find the code which used to lower the APG for the star player, I think this problem will be solved.

Any progress for the C's 3 shooting????

just wanted to ask which one is the assist cell as I tried a bit changing on Kraudi's file yesterday and now I see this :o , awesome :D

0198 08 means how many percentage field goal is took as assist

0198 09 this is perticular cell, I think there are only several value can be put there, 60 is the one.

0198 14, the value FF means more assists will give to the guards( or player who is the best passer in their them), but if you lower this value to AA or more lower, you will find almost 50% assist give to C. I do not know why. Just FF, or EF is best value in this cell.

i found something about assist.

the cells from 1a0(row)-0b(column) to 1a0-0f indicates how many assists have to be assigned to respectively the first second third fourth and fifth best passer of the team.

if the first value is bigger than the others it means most of assist will be assigned to pg or the best passer of the team.and so for the other four values.
