Info about SIMULATION Engine (+ Link)

Hey guys....

I have news....not gooooood news....but is better than "old" News...

I Fix POINTS PER GAME and STEALS in Simulation....but Rebounds and Assists i dont find...

PLEASE, if you have experience with HEX WORKSHOP, try help in this fix...because i dont have more idea how change....

Now, is not 100%, but is better than others NBA Live´s... Fix:

- PPG
- FGA
- FGM
- FTA
- FTM
- STEALS

Lagoa, these problems appear in dinasty mode or also in season mode

this problem is in season to and in fiba world champ or playoffs

problem is that when you are simulating games in dynasty/season/playoffs ppg of players are to big ... it is about 40

this patch is ok with players ppg but i played season and most ppg for team was 89,5 it is to low i think... and another thing is that star players (kobe,nash, nowitzki and others ) are playing well by ppg but another players is very low by that...

How about the fact that they shoot about 70% from the three point line?

Nowitzki got 70 points in a 10 minute quarters simulated game shooting 11/12 from three... I don't want to think what would've happened if I would have let the original 12 minute quarter sims...

And in general entire teams shoot like 60% from three per season.

because crash problem will be fix quickly i think....but this simulation problem is the MOST terrible bug i see...

This thing sucks. I was able to increase the rebounds and assists, and lower the points a little by combining parts of xbox360 version's simengine. The biggest problems still remain, which are the high fg and 3pt %, and the big men posting assists and taking 3's like they are guards. My first impression tells me that it is not possible without an official patch to fix this problem. I could deal with 07's 25 ppg league leaders and not so high assist leaders, but this is so much worse. I'll look into it more later.

Yeah...simulation problem in LIve 08 is VERY VERY complicated! With my first "fix" , CPU not shooting more than 15 FG 3pts...but, BLOCKS, and REBOUNDS is the problem....assists, teams have normal numbers, 25/30, but Nash and others not apears in TOP assists!

That's pretty accurate from a modding perspective. If it were even possible, it would probably take a while to figure the file out, and even then, post players will still probably be leading in assists, and that has to be patched by EA Sports/HB Studios. I don't understand how they could mess this up so bad(well, on second thought, I do, but it's still unacceptable). It was manageable in 07, but my god this issue, and the missing player rotation menu destroys any fun that could come from playing a dynasty.

If you guy are claiming this, I guess we'll just have to wait for EA/HB to do something and in my opinion it's going to take a while..

Problem is just Rebounds and blocks...and of course "big man assists" but, look this box score:



Is not too bad, it´s simulation box score...Kobe have more shots, assists is okay, steals too, 3pts FGA okay, FG okay, fouls, TO....just Rebs and blocks....

Problem is high fg and 3pt%. If you can lower the %, you will see more rebounds
