Pretty sure you need an active 365 code to play online, since you can only play online with the latest rosters.

Some of them say that they played live run and ranked matches without the code..hmmm

I could be wrong, to be honest I've never tried. I got my copy new with an active code which I entered first time I loaded up the game.

Hi, I have a question related to dynamic DNA aswell.

My PS3 broke down and I am planning to buy a new one. So does my Dynamic DNA work on my new PS3 if I connect to playstation network

Did you buy the DNA code from the PSN Store or did you use a code that came with a new copy of the game? If it's the latter, I'm pretty sure the DNA subscription is attached to your account.
