extra dna codes, where to get them easily, and why

Talk about NBA Live 10 here.

extra dna codes, where to get them easily, and why

go to blockbuster.

the game rental cover-boxes (the ones with the artwork) have the dna codes in them. i discovered this today and was able to hoard 3 of them. why you might ask?

to be able to play more than one dynamic season.

apparently you can only have one dynamic season per storage device, be it hard drive or memory card. i have one of each so i can run two seasons that way.... however, there is another way... and now i have 8 dynamic seasons running on one xbox 360.

one file for each team

CAVS
MAGIC
CELTICS
HEAT
LAKERS
MAVS
SUNS
NUGGETS

how?

first off i have 2 storage devices, and 4 user profiles on my x360, all with the free silver account.

if you have more than one xbox live profile on your system, only the profile you had active when you redeemed your code may use the dynamic dna feature. however, if you can score more dna codes, at the aforementioned location... then you can load up the code onto another profile connected to at least xbox live silver and from there, save a new dynamic season on that profile with the same hard drive/memory card as your previous saves.

the main reason i wanted to do this is so i could take multiple teams and rewrite history this season... but not all at the same time, and with minimal impact to the overall records/stats of the other teams in the league. controlling 6 teams at a time... you end up with a very different nba season. controlling one team at a time, you only effect the outcome of that teams games... and a slight impact on whoever you played against, more so if they are in your division, less if they are in the other conference.

on to blockbuster, make haste!

Are you mental? You know that you can run dynamic season with more than one team, right? Since you can play any game on any given day, you can actually play every game and change the entire season.

EA Sports should disable your stolen codes.

if i hadn't found those codes someone else would. since the games are not for sale, only for rent the codes cannot be considered stolen. they didnt come out of a retail copy. ea made the mistake of shipping rental games with the codes in them.

i dont want to run one dynamic season using 6-8 teams at a time. ea should have allowed us to run more than one season per storage device.

If the early release of NBA Live 06 in Australia is anything to go by, making mention of it is probably going to ensure that the situation is dealt with. ;)

I get where you're coming from as far as Dynamic Season is concerned, but I still think as a concept it's not meant to be exactly like Dynasty Mode or the single Season mode in previous games; it's about playing through the 2009/2010 NBA season as it happens and going back and changing results if you wish. Although having said that, I think it might also be a handy feature in future versions to be able to quickly and easily wipe games you've played from the record completely (as opposed to just playing them again) instead of simply replaying them, if you'd prefer to restore the real result.
