With the release of NBA LIVE 10 comes the new online team play mode adidas LIVE Run. If you had a burning question that you wanted answered or you just wanted some information as to what exactly LIVE Run is, check out our all-encompassing FAQ for everything you wanted to know about adidas LIVE Run.

How are LIVE Run squads created?

* Squads are created on your game console (PS3 or 360).
* To create a Squad go into the online/XBOX LIVE section of the main menu. Select the adidas LIVE Run menu item and then select Create Squad (this option will not be there if you are already part of a Squad). You will be shown a Squad Creation Screen where you can select the Squad name, logo, abbreviation and whether or not the Squad should be public or private. By default the setting is set to private. If the setting is set to public then anyone who sends a join request will automatically be a part of the Squad if there is a Squad membership room available. If the Squad is private then a Squad GM must accept the join request.

How do I search for a Squad?

* To search for a Squad go into go to the adidas LIVE Run menu item . Once there select to search for a Squad. The user can search for a Squad either by the Squad name or Squad abbreviation. Once that is completed hit the search button and a listing of Squads that the user has searched for will appear.
* On the web it’s the same thing as it is on the console. To start searching for a Squad on the web follow this link -> Search for Squads on the web

How do I join an existing Squad?

* You can join a Squad by finding a Squad you wish to join and sending a join request. Once the GM of the Club receives the request they can decide to add you to the team.

NOTE: If you are sending a join request to a Public Squad you will automatically be added to the membership if there is membership room available.

* You can choose to see only the Squads your friends belong to by selecting Friends Only on the Search setting screen.

How do I play a game in adidas LIVE Run?

* Once you’ve joined a squad, in the LIVE Run menu go into Play adidas LIVE Run. Once you enter it you are brought into the home room. The home room is where you and all your friends will initially be placed once you enter into “Play adidas LIVE Run”. Once all your friends are in the Home Room you and your friends can go into one of the five dressing rooms (which are all numbered) to search for a game or challenge another squad.
* In the Home Room you can see all your team-mates and what Dressing Room they are in.
* Squads can challenge other squads via a Squad. The first member to enter a Dressing Room is the Game Captain. The Captain has control of the room and other room members can see what the Captain is doing. The Captain can choose use the Challenge Club tools to find a Club to send a Challenge too.
* If the current Game Captain leaves the Game Room, the next member on the list is promoted to Captain.
* Choose a room to go into. You need at least two people to play a game. The captain can select ‘Quick Match’ to search for a random opponent, or try to challenge another squad.

How do I challenge other Squads?

* A Room Captain can also accept an incoming challenge from the Captains Room tools.
* In the challenge tool, the captain can see other squads with enough players to play a game.
* Once you choose a squad to challenge, your dressing room will go into a session where you wait for the other team to accept.
* If they ignore your challenge, you can go back to the Dressing Room and try a Quick Match game or issue another challenge.

What exactly is adidas LIVE Run?

* The adidas LIVE Run is the new version of NBA Clubs. What’s changed from this online game mode from the last year is that this version of NBA Clubs will not be comprised of NBA teams. Instead your squad (or club as it was called last year) will be comprised of the best players in the league by their playing position. Essentially each squad is like an all-star team of 5 players.
* The adidas LIVE Run game mode supports monthly seasons. Each season will last one month and at the end of the season the number 1 ranked team will be awarded a digital trophy. After the trophy is handed out then additional teams will be awarded gold, silver and bronze medals based on percentages of top teams in each league.

What has changed in adidas LIVE Run from NBA Clubs last year?

* The biggest change with adidas LIVE Run is that this iteration has web presence. What that means is that you are able to follow your Squad through www.easports.com . Everything from accepting Squad invites, to arranging games with other Squad, to checking out stats can be done on the web. So even if you happen to be on the bus and you want to check out stats for your Squad, you can check it out on a cell phone (provided it has internet access) and look up your team on the web at anytime. * It’s much easier for you to find your friends with adidas LIVE Run. When you enter the Squad’s Dressing Room you are automatically placed in the Home Room. Think of this has a central hub that Dressing Rooms are attached to. From this Home Room you can quickly see what Game Room your friends are in, and you can use the Left Thumbstick to join that particular Game Room. You must be in a Dressing Room to join a game or VOIP chat with members in that room.
* Joining a Squad also became a lot easier in adidas LIVE Run because you can send a join request to be a part of a Squad. By default when a Squad is created it is a Public Club. Private Clubs require a Club GM or Club Creator to accept the join request. If the Club is Public a Join request is automatically accepted if there is membership room available.

How do I leave a Squad?

* You can leave a Squad by viewing the Member List and select your gamertag. After selecting your gamertag select “Leave Squad”. If you are the Squad GM and there are still other Squad Members, you will need to assign another member as a Squad GM.

As a Squad GM or the Creator, how do I remove a member?

* There could be several reasons you wish to remove an existing Squad member. To do this, view the Squad Member List and select the member you wish to remove. From the popup list select “Remove Member”.
* A Squad Creator can remove any member, including Squad GM’s
* A Squad GM can remove other Squad GM’s.
* A Squad GM cannot remove the Squad Creator.

How many Squads can I play with?

* You can play with 1 Squad at a time.

How can I follow my Squad?

* You can follow your Squad on the web or even with phones that have web functionality.

Who is featured in Community Spotlight?

* Community Spotlight will feature teams that have been active in adidas LIVE Run, whether it is through the amount of games played or by others who rate a particular Squad very high due to their fair play or the amount of recent wins by a Squad. There are a lot of deciding factors that go into a team being featured in Community Spotlight, however the EA community wants to highlight particular teams that are making adidas LIVE Run as good as it can be.
