NZ roster looks good & actually mostly up-to-date. Shame we can't add Sean Marks to the mix. At least they still have Pero in there (even though I think he might have hung up the shoes re international hoops)
Any chance of getting an overall & 3pt rating for Kirk Penney?
Rest of rosters look pretty good to me, mostly about 12 months old though based on 2008 teams, not 2009 rosters.

The rosters are totally wrong. Shame... but still it is
NBA Live not FIBA Live
Wed Oct 07, 2009 1:02 am
the only differences are the inclusion of new zealand and the addition of ricky rubio. and i can assume any jerseys that were out of date last year have been fixed. It is a shame that that is all, but hopefully theyll fix it all in next years edition.
and someone needs to tell ea that none of the players on the great britain team still play for the organization other than Deng. thats the roster for the 2006 commonwealth games where it was england, and not the entire UK that was represented. that was before there was an actual GB team.

I hope they also make updates for the National Teams. also the rosters of the national teams should be at least editable regarding players skills and accessories. and the possibility on creating on the teams.
I hate 09's mid length socks for all players for the FIBA rosters. and the black shoes for away shoes an dwhile the socks don't change color.

LOL the Aus team is a joke... NO CJ (who is the captain lol), and the team is pathetic, they didn't even spell Newleys name right last year (they spelt it Newly lol.. and none of the players look authentic.. but really at the end of the day it's NBA Live, not FIBA Live lol (but this could be a cool idea)

whose this b.hill they should have abercrombie in the nz roster even phil jones still good though will there be updates or just have to wait to next year. Also they have changed the ball to the official fiba molten ball which is different to the nba ball.
Wed Oct 07, 2009 8:35 am
I doubt there'll be any updates to the FIBA rosters this year as part of the NBA Live 365. I haven't heard either way, but that would be my guess.
Wed Oct 07, 2009 8:40 am
That would be Ben Hill. New Zealand's roster is identical to the one from FIBA World Olympic Qualifying Tournament for Men 2008.
Argentina is all wrong. Pepe Sánchez hasn't played for the national squad for years. In fact, he has retired from international tournaments, and didn't play in Athens. Wolkowyski and Fernández are not taken into account by current coach Oscar Hernández, who has been around since 2007. The rest is somewhat correct, even though Gutiérrez is constantly the 12th man at best.
What disappoints me is the fact that some squads don't even have 12 players. That's a huge letdown, especially when you're basically copying and pasting the rosters from Live 09. There are small modifications here and there (Rubio, Kepkay), but the rosters are almost the same.

I guess the FIBA teams just aren't a priority. Licensing issues could once again be playing a factor here; the FIBA license may not automatically allow for every player to be included as the NBA license does.

can you edit fiba players accessories or jumpshots.

I went ahead and picked it up from EB Games since my copy from EA is still in transit, but I've heard that JB Hi-Fi should have it from today as well.
Fozzrat wrote:can you edit fiba players accessories or jumpshots.
Yes to both.
Hotwater10 wrote:What is Rubios rating?

Is that any good. Like How high is Rodney Stuckey? Rondo? I remember in 2004 it was around a 73 for a decent player.
Wed Oct 07, 2009 9:55 am
Rondo's an 82 overall, Stuckey's 78 overall.

New Zealand roster is great. Except J Wench, can we replace him with Thomas Abercrombie somehow someway?

As noted elsewhere, appealing to certain markets/regions is also factored into the selection process, so it's not just a case of the top 24 teams in the world being included.

Ratings are just a joke. Kirk Penney's overall rating is 43 I think and PC has a similar rating too
whereas Mike Fitchett and Lindsay Tait are around 60.
More importantly, date of birth of most players on the Tall Black squad are just incorrect.
It says PC was born in 1980 and many more.
Those are not editable either....
I would have liked if the Aussie team had 12 players like most of the other national team rosters
(Jason Smith and Sam Mackinnon are still there

)

The overalls aren't displayed in the selection menus, just their record from last year.
Southampton wrote:New Zealand roster is great. Except J Wench, can we replace him with Thomas Abercrombie somehow someway?
No, we can't add or remove players as far as the FIBA teams are concerned.
