NLSC NBA Live 10 Online League?

We're hoping to make a better go of an NLSC Online League this year using NBA Live 10. As such, we'd like to gauge your interest now. If you'd be interested in taking part, please post here and note whether you're an Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 user. If possible, we'll get a league for each platform up and running if there's enough interest.

Further announcements and info to come once the game is out and we start setting things up. In the meantime, please let us know if you're interested in taking part.

I want to join that league (X360) , but I aint sure when I'm gonna get 13 month gold subscription , I just need a little bit more money cause I spent it all for Live 10 and Forza Motorsport 3

I'm planning on it if we can get it going. I know our 09 effort didn't exactly pan out but that's why we're making some preliminary plans for it now as we'd like to make a better go of it and I'll certainly be playing if we can get it off the ground.

Ah, dial-up...I got shaped last month so I got a reminder of what that was like. Couldn't wait until the first of the month and a new download limit. It's a shame we're so far behind other developed nations in Internet access, a lot of Australians are still on dial-up. At least there's been some penetration with wireless solutions.

Didn't the Australian govt recently announced telcom reforms to break-up Telstra to end the stranglehold of the company with the aim of promoting greater competition and consumer benefits? Hopefully, this will see more faster broadband speeds and less disconnections.

I'll believe it when I see it. So far it seems they've put more time, effort and money into trying to censor the Internet rather than speed it up and improve coverage nation-wide.

Depending on the interest level, I'm definitely interested in the XBox 360 league.

If need be, we'll run a trial league with fewer teams to begin with and if we've got some enthusiastic users and more people looking to get in, we'll try for one with more teams.

How will team selection be handled? Would we have a random draft, first come first serve, etc.?

I think first come, first serve would be the best way to go.

I'm really keen to play in the PS3 league. I'm from NZ. I'm on ADSL2 speed internet but whenever I play OTP or 5on5 vs someone from america i get quite a bit of lag. Would this still be present if playing people from Australia? I was hoping it would be quite a bit better due to the shorter distance.

Anyhow, count me in for PS3 league. Look forward to hearing more as it gets off the ground.

Pdub's created the league, I'm having some issues where it's not letting me accept or send invites for online leagues because of an "Xbox Live Membership Limitation" (even though I've got a Gold Membership in good standing) so he'll have to send along the invite, but we're keen to get it going (and I'll join as soon as I can get this XBL issue sorted).
