Talk about NBA Live 10 here.

LinkFeaturing gameplay designer Jeff Antwi talking about the different styles of play for each team in NBA Live 10.

ok, so everything he said about player differentiation sounds exactly what we were promised with Live 09.
He should have talked about the signature size ups, and other animations rather than player specific ratings and tendencies.

True, though hopefully with it being the second year of Dynamic DNA it'll be more noticeable in NBA Live 10. Hopefully getting all the team specific playbooks straight from the horse's mouth will have an impact on team styles being authentic as well.

when the video shows 1:22 we can see the new bobcats away uniform that aren't reviled yet

Good eye, I was focusing on Carter in that clip and didn't even notice. The pinstripes are a nice touch, I prefer the blue look even if they are a lot of blue jerseys in the league these days.

The Knicks have Orange Jerseys this year, I hope they are in the game, they look nice!!

There's been hints of new jerseys being made available as DLC. I don't think it's 100% confirmed as yet but it seems the possibility is there for additional alternates and retros to be added through the year.

Are the playbooks static? When the players on a team change in a dynasty, does the team playbook change? If I trade all the Raptors to the Lakers and all the Lakers players to the Raptors, will the Lakers still play as if they had Kobe, Gasol, etc.?

Good question, I can't remember if I posed that question in the Q&As I sent off; in any case, we'll try to get an answer on it. Presumably there'd be some change in the playbooks to reflect the recalculated DNA, some way of accounting for custom rosters.

If Phil Jackson was the coach, i would say yes. But I don't know if PB are tied to coaches.

weird how turkoglu's number is still 15, while it's 26

That's not uncommon in preview media. While some things slip by - having done the roster updates for so many years, I can attest to overlooking numbers here and there - oftentimes the screenshots and videos appear to have been taken before the final check of player numbers and other data. For example, some preview screenshots of NBA Live 08 featured Ray Allen wearing #35 for the Celtics following the trade in the 2007 offseason but his number had been changed to the correct #20 by the time the game shipped.

The playbooks are tied into the players only.
The only thing i don't like is that (CPU) doesn't don't mix up the plays very well. If you trade Kobe to the Hawks he's going to be involved in all of the plays that were designed for Joe Johnson. I don't think the game recognizes coaching tendencies like in Madden when a coach goes elsewhere.

So it sounds as if running teams will run regardless of the players on the team. If a run and gun team replaces all its players with slow guys, the slow guys will still be trying to run.

I heard about this as well as release date unlocks. I heard during one if the interviews that LeBrons shoes (the new ones) will be unlocked at a later date.

Ryan Santos and others have definitely confirmed the shoe updates, which will occur as the players unveil their new shoes through the course of the season. Hopefully it will be a similar situation with jerseys, or there'll be some available as DLC.
