Talk about NBA Live 10 here.

Looks Good. I gotta wait for the full game Oct. 6.

Post animations look weird, players look weird when moving backwards, Gasol's dunk looked weird, players do this weird sideways shuffle sometimes when receiving the ball, the off balance Carter shot at 3:55 just looked stupid/weird, at 5:05 Bynum presumably uses some sort of teleportation system to grab a rebound. Pau Gasol appears to have become Shawn Kemp when we weren't looking, the Gasol dunk/block looked bad also, wtf @ 8:29
I did like the off the ball stuff, I thought that was good. Visually it looks pretty, collisions seem good as well. I also like the little arrow showing you where the players are looking.

After watching this video and other demo videos on youtube, I'm positive that the czar was paid to say good things about Live. Yes, paid. AI intelligence is crappy. No 5-5 offense or defense is played remotely like how it is played on Live.

Have you played the demo for yourself?

Are you using the Lakers? I see Gasol jumping up and down a lot...

Ya LOL. . It's Live 09 bad habits

The one thing that annoyed me about the demo was the replay of the last basket scored of the quarter, that played at the end of the first and second quarters. It's a great idea (that's what they do on broadcast stations before the commercial break), but it needs to be more than a second long. Five to six seconds would be a good length, so we can actually enjoy watching the replay. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, watch 7:03 of the video bee-boy posted. Hopefully they fix this for the game's release. I was also not satisfied with the pick and roll control. It seemed like they downgraded it from last year. It doesn't seem to work as well and fluently.

Wish you had a PS3 man, I'd give you a game. I give you props for playing on Superstar and hanging. Look like you rushed a lot, which is understandable due to the time constrants. Your switch defense looked pretty nice. I like the couple of user controlled blocks you had. Thank you for posting too. Gives me something to drool over until next week.

I liked this one hustle play steal Artest has at the end of the vid. Still I dont like most of the animations of live. As somebody has already said Pau Gasol seems to be Shawn Kemp in this vid.
I also did not know there was a possibility to get called for goaltending when you block a dunk.

Sometimes the point guard reacts strange running with the ball, but i like of some improvements, the hangar and the menu looks muuuuch better than Live 09

I should be getting a Ps3 soon, because of the Price drop lol. I got some more footage of me playing with Orlando in Sim fashion, I think people will understand what the dev team and the Czar were talking about when you have to play to the teams strengths to win. You really have to be patient with this game while playing both offense and defense on superstar. I honestly think sim fans will be happy with this game. Especially on Superstar with a few tweaks, Its like watching a real game

Pasta should really tweak the sliders similar to his sliders in Live 09 if he has any. But I do agree the main problems are the shot contesting and the Help Defense

The action looks nice... Too bad no PC version. Still on the fence about the console thing (cause I'd need a new TV to go with it too). Still don't know if I want to buy it for a couple of sports games... Although that used to be one of my favorite past times.
The game looks good, the animations are better. Though I've been playing Live 06 on the PC lately and you can't even compare the two. Enjoy the game. Maybe Live 11 will be on PC again, as if...

Here is a video I made. All default settings, playing as the Magic.
Flash

Nice dunk by Howard at 1:52; however as the video continued its play, realised that Howard is making it look easy to dunk.
Fri Sep 18, 2009 12:19 am
It is easier with a player like Howard, however I found that I run into resistance if I try to dunk on every play.

With difficulty on Pro, it's pretty easy to dunk and otherwise score close to the basket. I wasn't too surprised that some of my undisciplined play resulted in dunks and alleyoops. I have had trouble scoring on All Star with the Magic, but not when I use the Lakers and Kobe. He is a beast I tell you. The jump in difficulty is pretty big from Pro to All Star.
I started the game out just running and taking any opportunity. I slowed it down and tried different things later on, though. I didn't just want to pull a "Live 08" and dish it to the bigs on the break for an easy inside score.

At 4:21, Dwight Howard dunked in slow motion

Very true. The AI doesn't particularly try to play realistic ball on Pro difficulty either, so Marcus and co definitely weren't kidding about playing on All-Star or Superstar.
