Talk about NBA Live 10 here.

Hey guys,
My name is Yaw (pronounced as "yao" like Yao Ming) and I'm the new Community Manager for NBA LIVE.
I just wanted to introduce myself to the NLSC community as you guys have played an integral part in furthering the NBA LIVE series. Over the years you guys have doing amazing stuff with the PC Mods you have created for the game as well as your participation in making the game better with the wishlist you guys create every year.
A little about myself, I've been with EA for more than two years now starting out as a QA tester for NBA LIVE. I've worked on three NBA LIVE titles (including LIVE 10), the March Madness series, Madden Wii, FIFA and many more. My passion is basketball so to be able to work with the LIVE team as I did with LIVE 10 and now in this capacity as a Community Manager is a dream opportunity.
I hope this is the start of something great and I'll try answer whatever questions I can that you guys may have with the LIVE series. Can't wait to start talking with you guys. Peace.
Yaw.

Welcome again Yaw, great to have you on board.

Great stuff!
Maybe you can pass on a message to the Live crew.... the one thing we really need in the game is emotion when a player blocks, being a baller myself and more on the defensive side of things there's no better feeling then sending someone’s weak $hyt out my zone

& I'm pretty sure in all the NBA games that have been made no one really emphasized on this by making a player celebrate after blocking.
One of my most memorable moments in NBA was when Mutombo slapped Jordan's weak as $hyt out into the 10th row and then most of us know what happened after that..
Cheers!

the one thing we really need in the game is
The most perfect team play possible at the expense of anything else like shoes or starting lineup intros?

Oh, you're one of those people.

What about Alain Quinto/sk88z ? or Kathryn? How many community managers does EA go through in a year?
Welcome Yaw.

Welcome flash. Hope you enjoy your times around the forums.
Only one question for you. Any chance of being able to import draft classes from NCAA Basketball to NBA Live in the near future?

Welcome Yaw.
Kathryn is focusing more on EA Active and Alain is also working with NHL 10 title so both were extremely busy. Yaw as already mentioned knows a lot about Live 10 and from the 2 phone conversations I've had with Yaw he was a great choice for NBA Live Community Manager role. Alain and Kathryn still help with the NBA Live title so they haven't completely left the scene.
By the way did Alain make it in to work today or is he still recovering from birthday celebrations Yaw?

Not too sure about this although it's definitely been a hot topic with the community for years. I'd have to check up on that and let you guys know what's going on with that.

Speaking of the NCAA franchise, has there been any progress on securing the international licensing rights? I'd love to import it and check it out one of these years, but I'm stuck with the region restrictions of the Xbox 360.

Considering NCAA game is based on Live engine, I may consider importing it to Oz if Live engine is as good as Czar's previews suggest it might be. Am keen to give the demo a whirl, just have to wait for it to be up on PS3. Might wait until after my exam (on 22nd) to do that though
