State of NBA Live 10Quick Recap- The podcast begins by touching on the improvements to gameplay and AI, the changes to shooting and passing controls are also mentioned.
- Mike is asked what some of the most challenging elements of basketball to replicate and get right. He says that getting basketball right is more difficult than football or soccer due to the player interactions and the way they move as well as the general flow of the sport.
- Direct Pass Receiver Control and Freestyle Passing is talked about, Mike mentions that it was important to give the user more control in these areas.
- Playbooks are mentioned. Mike reiterates the authenticity of playbooks and once again mentions that the Dev Team were able to partner with NBA teams to get the right information straight from the source about the different plays that teams run.
- Mike talks about playing with this year's rookies as well as playing the game with Baron Davis when he visited EA's studio. Mentions some other players who have visited the office, including Andrew Bogut.
- The conversation returns to player movement and the focus on getting players in NBA Live 10 to move like their real life counterparts. Mike talks about bringing in a lot of different players for motion capture so that players of different size and athleticism are properly represented. He says he feels that NBA Live 10 is a definite step in the right direction in this area, though alludes to there still being room for improvement in future releases.
- Mention is made of pre-production for NBA Live 11, which is already underway. Mike also says that they are looking at various elements of NBA Live 10 that they would like to try and patch after the game is released.
- As the podcast is wrapped up, the release of the demo next week is mentioned. Barring any problems with Microsoft or Sony, the demo's release is still slated for September 10th (next Thursday) on both the Xbox Live Marketplace and Playstation Store.

Not a great deal of new info revealed this time around but I'd say it's worth a listen all the same.
