Non user playoff games to be watched or played

NBA 2k9 does this so why doesn't nba live 10 do this as well. To sim half the game and play the other half is disabled as well which is disappointing. The season is so well done ( except for maybe a 29 or 58 game season option ) why can't the playoffs be more in depth. I personally would like to watch the other playoff games and if you wanted too you could play them so another friend could be that team in the playoffs and not do the dynasty side of it but play as that team for multi player action. Maybe an option for playoff mode at the start screen is missed also so you could watch them there or play with them. Please comment on whether you would like this feature as nba 2k9 has it and i play that rather than live 09 except with the dna live has (making it better than 2k9 for realistic player scoring) it's a shame live doesn't have that option.

Well, we don't actually know if NBA Live 10 will allow it or not but to be honest I'm guessing not. I suppose it's not something that tops a lot of people's Wishlists because most people are after a more interactive experience and want to control the action rather than just watch. I have no objection to such a feature per se, it'd be nice to have it for those who want it but I wouldn't be interested in it myself and I'd rather they improve what's already there than add something like this. It's one of those things they could do when other things are in order.

It would be good if they could but just a bit more in depth stats for the playoffs. Like box scores or the ability like in the season to sim half the game and play the rest. But the ultimate would be to be able to play or watch the playoffs. Its pretty cool cause if they make it how it's supposed to be then it would be like watching the real nba playoffs. with nba dna and everything.

I tink that introducing Sim Intervention into the playoffs is a great idea and is something I'm surprised they don't already have avaialable. Hopeefully it's there for '10. Being able to watch the other playoff games would be a nice option to have though as Andrew said, I think it's low on there priorities list at the moment. Wouldn't be that hard for them to add in that option though. It would be no different to allowing the user to start a game with no user controlled team (such as you can do ine xhibition mode).

Yes, but I don't think it should really be a priority. Most people buy the game to play it, not watch it.
