NBA LIVE 10 Release Date Thread

The release date for North America has been revealed as October 6th 2009 by the official NBA Live 10 website.

US/Canada: October 6th, 2009
Australia/NZ: October 9th, 2009 (7th and 8th also mentioned)
UK/Europe: October 9th, 2009 (8th also mentioned)
Japan: November 5th, 2009

Indeed, we're no doubt looking at a similar timeframe for NBA Live '10. But a specific date has been floating around out there, we have something that's subject to confirmation.

No worries. Sean's post mentioned a demo, if recent years are anything to go by we'll probably get one about a month before the release.

The release date doesn't mean anything to me since we wont be seeing a PC release.

some 2k guy said october 6th, since the NBA controls when the games come out, that is our day.

Cool. I've updated the first post, we can probably pretty much toss out September 28th but I'll keep mention of it just in case.

on the gamestop website it says it's coming out October 6th so just a few months away.

if these release dates hold up for live and 2k on the same day. Who do you guys think will sell more ?

Live has still sold relatively well despite the lacklustre reviews in recent years but I believe 2K got the upper hand last year, at least on the Xbox 360. I think Live '10 could take it back though.

So, we've already got a date of September 28th 2009 out there though Sean O'Brien's recent blog post may indicate that it's not set in stone and we could be looking at another early October release, which of course isn't that far off that date. Nevertheless, now seems as good a time as any to start the annual Release Date thread for people to refer to and post any dates they come across for North America and other regions of the world.

The official site says October 6th, so looks like the North American release date has been confirmed. For those of us outside the US and Canada, feel free to pass along any dates that you find out for your region of the world.

I think for Live to take it back needed are these features


1) Multiplayer dynasty- 2K has multiplayer association and I feel that Live should've had this by now


2) Saving during the offseason- 2K has this and I don't see why Live doesn't unless Live 09 has this on 360 which i haven't gotten to any offseason mode yet then this needs to be added


3) In Game Saves- I really feel a lot of people would love this features and I don't think that even 2K has this.


I always end up buying both games because there are features that I like in both games


Live- has the allstar weekend, rookies vs sophomores, slam dunk, 3 point shootout


2K- Multiplayer association mode, saving during the offseason

I cannot wait to get this game. I am in America so October is going to be my month

Well, lucky for those (rich) guys who owns a next gen console but for me, I am only excited if Live will finally beat 2k this year.
