Soundtrack Wishlist

I've always been a fan of the songs that EA put in their sports titles, especially Madden and NBA Live. Are there any songs that you'd like to appear on the soundtrack?

Personally, I'd love to see Amazing by Kanye West feat. Young Jeezy, Rooftops by Lostprophets and something by Aussie hip-hop duo Bliss N Eso (look em' up).

The soundtrack tends to fade into the background for me, but since I don't usually have much to say about the soundtrack I'll throw this out there: I think it would be kind of cool if NBA Live had its own theme, with a slightly different arrangement or maybe covered by different artists year-to-year.

I like the idea of an original theme for NBA Live, but I can see the development team sticking with a hip-hop approach.

I expect so too. I don't mind that, there's usually at least one or two songs I grow to like each year and as I said it just fades into the background for me. Of course, if I couldn't stand hip-hop I'm sure I'd feel a lot differently.

Not a bad idea Andrew. Different artist can cover the same theme so as to retain a musical identity of Live but with a new variety every year since a different artist is used.

I've been thinking that Mos Def may be an artist that is heavily featured throughout the game's soundtrack, though I'm purely basing that off his voice-over during the first trailer. What do you think?

Also, another song that I think would suit/be awesome is Stomp by Murphy Lee feat. King Jacob and Prentiss Church.

Possibly. He'll surely have one or two in the game since the trailers generally make use of snippets from the upcoming game's soundtrack.
