Talk about NBA Live 10 here.

Instead of having that same annoying voice every single year for the nba live series. Why not implement the voices each of the arena announcers of every nba team. Example...
Let's say a visitor team faces the Detroit Pistons and someone from the visiting team loses the ball and goes out of bounds. Then the arena announcer yells DETROIT, then the crowd responds by saying BASKETBALL. Or when Rasheed Wallace gets the ball in his hands the crows reacts by saying sheeeeeeeeed.
Just a small suggestion, but the little things EA could add to make the game feel more like a basketball game and your actually playing in real life.

wait i play NBA Live 06 and i experience that....
yea those would be a cool feature....rock on Mason....could also be cool if they added an anger level so that Rasheed can get ejected at least once in five games or something.....would be a cool feature....

I have been looking at ways to make that happen with Audy, but it just
won't work. Great idea though!

It's a great idea in theory but I doubt it will ever happen. Even given the size of the storage medium these days, recording every PA announcer in the league - and paying them to feature in the game - isn't really feasible.

Thanks for moving this thread Andrew, i knew this was in the wrong place lol.
Maybe in NBA Live 2010, the EA team could maybe possibly put in some but not all(maybe they can let the fans choose which should be in the game, like maybe a max of 10)
Dunno, may sound weird/stupid.

Try emailing EA Sports with that request, and see what they say. I'm sure they would love the idea!

Hi Andrew,
A couple of days ago when I was playing live 06 dynasty, I was entering the All-Star weekend and some of my players were invited to participate in the Slam Dunk and ASG. I was wondering if EA can include an option to reject / accept the invitation? (Not sure if that's possible for 07, 08, even the latest 09 though)..
I remember there was once LBJ didn't want to participate in the Slam Dunk even though many feels he has what it takes to win...

I suppose it's something that could be done (it's not currently an option in NBA Live) but I'm not sure what the point would be, since you can just sim/skip the All-Star Weekend events if you're not interested in them.

Even though we sim, the player still participates in the event, though we won't know who gets the awards; and there's also the risk of getting injured... I once had D-wade played in the all-star game during dynasty and he got injured during the first half, came back in the 2nd half and aggrevated his injury that literally ended his whole season.... That option could have stopped the horrible incident from happening.
Just a thought.

I see your point, though declining All-Star Game invitations wouldn't be all that realistic since players face fines and suspensions if they refuse to participate in the game without good reason. You could also turn injuries off for the duration of All-Star Weekend. Anyway, I do see where you're coming from and it certainly couldn't hurt to include it in the Wishlist.

Cheers mate!

I wanna my guys in All star get injuried. And also players crashing into the crowd for ball. And maybe some kick ass cross overs.

how bout "jumpball" when there is a 3 second locked up.. or technical fouls if u disagree with the ref's call, then uL get thrown out of the game aftr 2 tecs, cooL huh

Unsportsmanlike technicals cannot be included as the NBA will not allow them. Same goes for fights, which is why we don't include them in the Wishlist; there's no point asking for them as the NBA is too image conscious to change their position on them.
I'd definitely like to see jumpballs though.
