Talk about NBA Live 10 here.

Does anyone know if were going to be able to export a player from the FIBA teams into free agency so we can put the in a NBA team this year
Fri Aug 07, 2009 1:53 pm
Nothing's been mentioned as yet.

I really hope they do, I want to put Joe Ingles in my Mavericks! EA allowed it in the NHL game, but maybe it comes down to having rights or something?

Pretty much. Different sports, different leagues, different rules basically.

I believe New Zealand will be in Live 10 (in spite of their recent play; couldnt even beat estonia). on the ea forum they were on the subject of using a create-a-team feature to create fiba teams and someone said they wouldnt need to do that for new zealand this year even if that feature was included. idk what that guy knows, but it makes sense, seeing as though japan had absoulutely no place in last years game and needs to be taken out. new zealand seems to be the next team in line.
with that said, i still think a create-a-team feature would be an easy fix for the fiba mode. id love to create a dominican team with ariza, villanueva, garcia and horford in the starting lineup. even israel or latvia would be interesting. dont they have a decent create-a-team feature in madden?
and fiba isnt affiliated with the euroleague or any of the professional leagues in europe, so any sort of deal with international player free agency wont be happening unless live signs another deal with one of those leagues.

Good point, that could indeed be a stumbling block. As I said, different leagues have different rules so just because it happens in Madden or NHL doesn't mean it can be done in NBA Live 10.
I'd really like to have Create-a-Team in there but I could do without it for another year if it means the core experience of playing the games and playing through Dynasty Mode is at (or close to) the level I want it to be at. I know it's been in previous NBA Live games (though not for about ten years now) and it's something that "should" be in there today but I for one can look past it so long as there are much more pressing issues that need to be dealt with. I'd be more bothered by the absence of Dynasty Mode, for example.
Oh, and welcome to the Forum Nikolai31.

does anyone know if the ps3 version of nba live 10 will allow you to play any regular season and or playoff game regardless if its in dynasty mode or season mode. The past versions for ps2 allow you to select all the teams in a season mode and play any game. Also madden and ncaa football gives you that option as well. let me know
thanks,

Unconfirmed, but my guess would be no.

I guess it was already assumed but Garreth Reeder mentioned this on his twitter site:
@jordankobewade7 we have a couple unannounced features yet to be revealed...about 22 hours ago from TweetDeck in reply to jordankobewade7

I expected as much. Let the speculation begin, I guess.

i doubt theyre bringing back the season mode where you can select all 30 teams to be user controlled (and thus be able to play any game), but i hear theyre bringing back the playoff mode, which may or may not allow you to play all the games.
i really miss the season mode though, ea needs to put that back in next year.

I haven't played Season Mode since Franchise Mode was introduced in NBA Live 2000, but I'm all for bringing it back for those who still want it. You're probably out of luck this year but getting the standalone Playoffs Mode back at least would/will be good.

Although the official site doesn't represent it as yet, it appears the fact sheet has been updated once again. Check out the first post for details.

I'm so glad they brought back the in-game save feature!!
Oh wait..

Dynamic DNA: The brain behind the game is powered by Synergy Sports Technology – the premier analytics provider using NBA data for over
25 NBA teamsWhat does that mean? Sorry Bobcats, Raptors, Wizards, and Thunder fans. No Dynamic DNA for you.

25 teams use Synergy for their scouting reports. All teams are covered by Synergy.

Further to my previous post, I can confirm that the list I posted yesterday is not the final fact sheet for NBA Live 10, so it would appear a couple of things are still being kept under wraps for now.

I can't wait to see what dynamic season and live run are! Its feels like they have already added so much but their are still 2 more features that haven't been announced yet. I'm guessing we will be told what these feautures are soon because I think all game information is released a little before the public demo.
Thu Aug 27, 2009 10:48 am
I'm inclined to agree, though given those features won't be accessible in the demo it would certainly build suspense if they wait until after the demo comes out to talk about them.
Thu Aug 27, 2009 10:50 am
either way though i'm still really excited for the game!
Thu Aug 27, 2009 10:52 am
Me too, I hope the taste we get with the demo does not disappoint.

yea. really my biggest gameplay concern is the hustle plays they sound really cool but i think they will probally become annoying at times when they happen at times when you don't really need them like alot of the reviews said about the demo. I hope eventually in future lives they somehow give some user control with the hustle plays. But overall i think live is finally starting to head in the right direction. Some people have complained alot about live 09 but i really think it was a big step up from 08. (although i played 08 on a ps2 and 09 on a ps3 so im sure that made a difference in my opinion of live 09 too)

i know you can get the demo without an xbox live gold account, but how about the Live 365 feature and other roster updates (for Live or any other EA game)?
im just now setting up my live account, now that i live in a place with a compatible internet connection and was wondering if i need to get the gold account or if i can go cheap.

Last year you were able to use 365 with a Silver membership, I'm fairly certain it's the same this year.

Agreed. I've said it before but I do feel NBA Live 09 on the 360/PS3 was a little underrated, progress was made and you could see some really good things there but the controls were a bit clunky and there was certainly still room for improvement. It still felt like it was on the brink of making that big leap forward though, so hopefully NBA Live 10 will be the one to do it.
