NBA Live 10 won't be available for PC

these seem bad news..EA doesn't care 2 poor people at this moment...how about the users with weak video cards, how about the people who can't afford to buy X-Box 360 and PS3..take a look on 2k, these pc game requires a 512 MB of memory on video cards, i can't afford that..and i know some people in this forum too can't..or, am i the only one?

As the games get better, they demand better hardware. It would be the same if NBA Live '10 was coming out on PC. You can't expect games to be cutting edge (particularly in terms of graphics) will still supporting outdated hardware; it just doesn't work like that. As shadowgrin said, gaming can be an expensive hobby.

I bet he can afford the 5 bucks a month.

Hey guys EA doesn't care about us,the PC gamers!
I can't afford to buy a XBOX or a PS3 console and I can't have the chance to play NBA Live anymore
We will may make again patches for NBA live 08 but I have bored the graphics!They look like terrible!Personally I think that EA must give us

thats pretty stuff up then if its not release on the pc....umm dont think ima invest in a console to play bball games

its a xbox 360 port and they even managed to put in options to lower the graphics and get more fps.

If you wanted a live version they wouldn't do shit, they would just give you a lil updated version of 08 or directly portet xbox 360 version with no support and no options to change your video settings..

...i know it's a lot expensive upgrading your peripherals once your PC didn't comply in the game system requirements...just deal with it, that's life bro, technology is changing from time to time...if game manufacturer's will take consideration those who use old video card then the graphics of the game will not be improved...

In all fairness, they didn't exactly care until last year. 2K Sports was content to be console only until EA decided not to release a PC version. That's certainly smart business, capitalising on a disgruntled and disillusioned fanbase and it gives the PC community another option but I wonder how interested they were in porting to the PC before EA decided not to, having not catered to that audience before. Don't get me wrong, it's nice that they released a PC version and presumably will again, but for many years it didn't seem like they much cared about the PC audience either.

I couldn't even get 2K9 to load on my laptop which is why i wish there were a PC Version of NBA Live 10. Am glad though that I now have a 360 or I would have been screwed. am looking forward to doing either a Clippers, Warriors, Grizzlies or Thunder Dynasty. Sorry I might not be able to take pictures unless i can find a way with my camera phone or something. So you may have to read the boring way like i did my Memphis Grizzlies dynasty. I might be able to show pictures of players like Blake Griffin and saying Griffin gets a double double in Clippers win.

Well if you couldnt get 2k9 to load, how would you expect a 360 port of Live 10 to fare on your computer?

Anyway, you can save and upload screenshots to easportsworld along with videos. So you can still do dynasties with screenshots and videos.

Its a shame that it isnt on PC and probably future versions wont be but look at the good side of that: 2K..
Live 08 on PC was a disgrace and still is but people still play it for some odd reason..
I dont know why people still play it.. If you cant run 2k than play live 06..

And if it did come out for PC you 08 people would still be stuck with it while we could make a choice between 2k and ea..
And its worth buying a new PC you would be impressed by gameplay and graphics.
You could also buy a console. I was never a console person, they are just too limited in usefulness and game modding..I have a wheel, gamepad, joystick and only genre where I found gamepad useful is sport games.. It would suck playing everything with gamepad

Even though i made the switch to 2k in 2006 id being playing Live since 95 and the one this that EA always had over 2k was that it was available on the PC where even though EA put out crappy updated live games each year it was THIS site and this sites PATCHER'S that made the game enjoyable.

The PC versions of NBA 2K have started to cultivate a patching culture. Hopefully at some point, 2K's presence on the PC platform with a 360 port will encourage EA to get back into that market.

But 2k is not patching friendly and that's a problem.
Also EA Sports are having a plan that not includes PC as it is seems,cause all sport titles except FIFA are not in PC,and FIFA is not so good as in consoles.Maybe if they realise how bad this is for them also as they lose many money from PC games sales,we can see sth good in PC.

Hopefully 2K finding a market for a 360 port to the PC will provide some incentive to the people making the decisions as well.
