Judging from Madden 10 and Fight Night Round 4's covers, I have a feeling that they will put two players in this year's cover.

Especially if they put Rondo/Rose on there paint drip-split-splash-splodge themed cover

roy or cp3. would be wicked if they put joakim noah on the cover.

I don't think they want to copy 2K by putting Chris Paul on the cover. Derrick Rose, Rajon Rondo, Brandon Roy, and Dwight Howard would be my guesses. However, with the T-mobile commercial where Barkley pulls Howards hamstring playing against D-Wade in 2K could be a sign of him being on the next 2K bball game. Just like the Brandon Roy interview and mocap sessions could be a sign of Roy being on the cover of the next Live.

Two Player covers sounds nice rondo & rose or kobe & lebron but off-course i'm not counting on the kobe vs lebron cover because of these asking too much,but Brandon Roy is the strongest pick so far for me,and I remember that kobe already was on a cover it was nba 07

Presumably Sony was willing to pay whatever it took to get those guys on the cover. For all the difference it probably makes given the established brand recognition anyway, I don't blame EA choosing not to go with anyone who asks for an extortionate amount.

As Jao said, Wikipedia is especially unreliable when it comes to these sorts of things as fanboys, haters, and people who simply think spreading false information is amusing all take turns vandalising the entries and listing fake cover players. Similarly, but a little more tongue-in-cheek, someone edited the NBA 2K9 entry last year stating that Kwame Brown would be their cover player. Needless to say, 2K Sports didn't go that route.

If i get a chance to choose for EA and if Kwame Brown only asks for 1$ i still won't choose him as a cover boy

Dwight Howard has worked with 2k so I don't think it'll be him....if it's Brandon Roy, that alone might be worth purchasing the game, as they're putting a real player on the cover for a change

If it wasn't for the price tag, I'd say Lebron. I think it's gonna be BRoy or Dwight as well. Leaning more on Roy. Though I think Chauncey will be a sleeper pick. Especially if he has a great playoff run.
