NOTE: Andrew hosted (he is hosting his home games), but because of technical difficulties related to his emulator and/or graphics card, we had to play with no sound, and graphical glitches (Those glitches only happened in the second half). I put the highlights to NBA Live 99 music, and smoothed out the gameplay. Parsec worked fine.

Note: More issues with RPCS3 when we connected via Parsec (Andrew hosted, as he was at home). The game froze a couple minutes into the 4th quarter, and the players had blue arms in the second half.

NBA Live 10 was definitely the right choice for this first tournament. Great game to end our series, Dee was on fire in the third.

Congratulations to our first champion, Dee4Three, and kudos also to our runner-up, Cavs4872! Also, hats off to everyone who competed in the tournament. It produced some really fun games to watch, and the sportsmanship and goodwill all around was really awesome to see. I hope everyone had fun competing, and watching the highlights! Also, an extra thanks to Dee4Three for co-ordinating everything, including hosting games and putting all the videos together.

As a test run, I believe this first tournament worked out extremely well. Parsec has opened up some great multiplayer opportunities for us, so we'll be running some more tournaments this year. Next up will be NBA Jam (2010) or NBA Jam: On Fire Edition, as per a Twitter poll. Additionally, we'd like to hold a tournament with a college game - possibly NCAA Basketball 09 - to coincide with this year's March Madness.

Moving forward, we're also open to suggestions. If you have any preferences as to format and structure, or suggestions for specific games, we'd love that feedback. Thanks again to everyone who competed; hopefully, we can make these tournaments a staple activity within our community.

I Just saw on YouTube, how do i apply to play in the competition?

Anyone is free to join in when we hold tournaments! Basically it's first come, first served when we announce one, so when Dee puts out the call, just let him know you want in and claim a team!
