PSP roster updates

I have noticed that the majority of rookies are missing from all the NBA teams. Anyone know if EA will be releasing a roster update once the 15 man rosters are set?

I haven't heard either way, but I'd be surprised if any updates are released. The PSP version certainly won't have the benefit of the NBA Live 365 updates.

Sadly from what i've heard it doesn't sound like much effort is being put into the psp version. You would think they could at least add rookies. I'm not sure if it had something to with contracts or something but before live had 365 on the game consoles I don't remember rookies being a problem.

It doesn't have any rookies at all? If it only has some, that'll just be a matter of certain players not being signed by the roster cutoff, which has always been the case (but isn't an issue on the 360/PS3 these days due to NBA Live 365). I think it's fair to say that the PSP version is an afterthought though, it's not developed by the same team that produces the 360/PS3 version for what it's worth.

I don't have a psp so i don't know but from what raptors fan said its only a few.

Ah, of course. Well in that case we're definitely talking about the roster cutoff date and issues with likeness rights.

Ya, its missing most of them, anyway, i've updated my rosters as much as possible but could use some help with all of the ratings for the following players so I can create them. If you can help out that would be great!

Ok, where might I find them?

After I downlload the fix, how can I view the ratings? I can't figure out to open it just to view the ratings.

You'll need to open players.dbf using DB Commander. Refer to the DBF Editing Guides for more info on the data fields.

Ok, so download DB commander and how do I view the players info in that program?

As I said, open players.dbf and refer to the DBF Editing Guides for info on the individual data fields. All of the ratings are grouped together starting with FGBASE, except for the CLUTCH rating which is towards the end of the columns of data.
