Talk about NBA Live 10 here.

It seems as though no one team can go on a run of any sort. If one team starts out hot, they will eventually go cold to the point of missing lay ups. Also the CPU's come back logic is one unrivaled by any game that I've played before. To elaborate, the steals and offensive rebounds that the CPU consistently received began to get frustrating to say the least, so I turned both completely down for the CPU. Nothing changed as I was up by 4 points with 12 seconds to go in the game when miraculously the CPU runs full speed at me to swipe the ball away and score. Okay cool, 7 seconds remaining, so I'm expecting the intentional foul from them so that I can go to the line and close out the game. No! They do it again, this time to tie the game. Now I'm in overtime and to make a long story short they win by 2 on a buzzer beater. Really? For whatever reason they coded this game to keep the numbers balanced and as a result it's becoming more and more frustrating. It seems as though every game is a close nail bitter. Out of every game I've played so far (Dynasty Mode), the margin of victory has been no more than 4. I can't speak for everyone, but the constant feeling of being cheated is beginning to bother me. Does anyone else get this feeling while playing this game, that at any given time no matter how great you're playing, the CPU will find a way to come back and make it a close one or win?

I have to say that I feel the same. But tweaking the sliders a bit made me feel better

. I'm controlling Magic in my dynasty so I should win a lot of games, but I was loosing to really poor teams every time by 1 point ! After tweaking the sliders a little I'm winning the games against poor teams by 10-20 points but I'm still loosing the games against tough rivals like Suns. My record is 9-13 now. I've changed the sliders after about 12 games when I had 2-10 record or around it. Also changing the starting lineup helped me. Instead of playing with Nelson as PG and Pietrus as SF I'm now playing with J-Will as PG , Nelson as SG and Carter as SF. That Starting 5 is a lot better because Nelson is 2nd scorer in my dynasty and He is definietly the best shooter in my team averaging 26ppg.(8minute quarter- superstar lvl)

I don't know what game you guys are playing but I think on all star difficulty runs are almost unstoppable.

Live has always been scripted. Certain teams are supposed to lose to certain teams. It really has nothing to do with the sliders IMO. I lost in a double OT game against he Jazz, game was tight, but my team like let up lol. Like I wasn't supposed to win that game

In Live, things seem predetermined. Just because I get wide open shots from outside doesn't mean I won't toss up a bunch of bricks even though my release point is good. Why? Because of the DNA, I think. Play to your players' and team's DNA and you should have more success. It feels like I am being forced to play the way the way the players have been scouted. Although, when higher rated players you can really toss this theory out, since you can go nuts with them.

I don't think comeback logic is too big a problem in NBA Live 10, at least compared to some of the releases from a few years ago. As much as I enjoyed NBA Live 06, its comeback logic was absolutely merciless. I think you need it to a certain extent to keep the games challenging and help the AI content with human intelligence but it does get frustrating when your players forget how to play basketball, no question. But as I said, I don't feel it's as much an issue in NBA Live 10 as other games in the series that I could mention, such as 06.
