How to run plays in Live 10

Postby Peja_4_3 on Sat Sep 26, 2009 7:09 am

Hi everyone, i'm playing the Live 10 on PS3 and i cant' figure out how to run the plays. I'll call a play (say Howard 5 i think) and all is see is a circle on the court, i go there and nothing. Anyone care to enlighten me on this one, i haven't really observed and tried running plays because it just goes nowhere. also do you just direct pass to the guy with an 'X' above him? or just press pass with the left stick pointed to the guy? i see some movement on the players going to their spots but can't execute or complete the play.

Moving to the circle on the floor begins the play. You'll then get a couple of passing icons above your teammate's head, indicating that they should be the ones to receive the pass (either through directional or Direct Passing, direct pass is certainly a more failsafe way of doing it). Sometimes an icon may appear above more than one player's head, which means you have a couple of different options for the next step in running the play. After making the pass, another circle may appear on the court which is the next spot you have to move to keep the play running. It depends on the play and when you're in a position where you'd like to attempt a shot.

Sometimes a second circle may appear after you move to the first spot indicated when calling the play. This is often true of plays that are designed to give players an opportunity to drive to the basket. You'll move to the first spot and then the next circle will appear underneath the basket, indicating that the next move is to attempt to get to the hoop.
