I'm sure most people have seen this as it's been linked to from a couple of blog posts on Inside EA Sports, but seems we don't have a thread on it yet, aside from a speculation/wishlist type threa. In any case, for those who haven't yet seen it:

Not so good, but i like the presence of Beastie Boys

I've noticed a few comments on the Inside EA Sports blog from some people declaring that they won't buy the game because of the soundtrack. While everyone's entitled to their opinion and to do whatever they want, that does strike me as going a bit too far especially since you could disable all the tracks and put your own music on in the background (one way or another) if you really want. Not to get all high and mighty but I've never understood that point of view, the soundtrack is one of the last things that would turn me off buying a game.

Once again not a great soundtrack, but it never is. That's what the basketball culture is perceived to be, so that's what we get. I just turn the in-game music volume down. Naturally a bit of CCR would be better

Yeah, the cover player reasoning is even sillier. At least the soundtrack is something in the game that could prove distracting but the box can be tossed out or stuck on a shelf and never looked at. Mind you, I'd suggest at least some of the people saying that never had any intention of buying Live in the first place and are just looking for any opportunity to run it down and justify their stance, as if any of us have to justify our preference in a particular brand.

Quick question; I'm seeing a soundtrack offered from certain places if you pre-order NBA Live 10. Does anybody know which of the tracks will be included on this disc?
