Talk about NBA Live 10 here.
Sun Jun 14, 2009 9:12 pm
Electronic Arts announced today that NBA Live 10 won´t be released for PC.
They have stopped to produce the game one year ago when they decided not to release NBA Live 09 for PC.
So NBA 2K10 will be the only basketball game for PC that will be released during 2009.
The NBA LIVE franchise has graced multiple generations of consoles for over 15 years, and has sold more than 35 million units lifetime.
The game will be available for the PLAYSTATION 3, PSP, and Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft.
NBA LIVE 10 is currently in development under the EA SPORTS™ brand by EA Canada in Vancouver, B.C. and will be available worldwide this October

especially when we take their reviewed 5/10 release games and at least make them a good 8/10 after changing graphics and gameplay

Terribly disappointing, but not altogether unexpected. As I said, we'll just have to move forward doing what we can with the console versions and continue doing what our community does best in patching the older PC releases.

Like I said earlier, it's just another year without Live on the PC. We'll just have to deal with it, and unfortunately we'll get used to it.

and the patching of 08 continues hahaha, maybe a mod for 2010 is about to begin
Mon Jun 15, 2009 5:03 am

It would be so cool to see a next gen version of live on PC.
Mon Jun 15, 2009 2:08 pm
Damn it, bad news, EA always seems to piss me off, if it wasn't for the awesome NLSC patchers

I'd have stoped playing this a long time ago.

..it was very close to have a pc version and look what it has done to us...just for the sake of my love for this game..i've upgraded my video card for an upcoming game, NBA Live '10, but oh men, there won't be a PC version it cost me seven years to gather all that money and ea won't give us a chance,,what do they want from us!!!????

Buy 2K10?
Tue Jun 16, 2009 1:20 am
there is a peter moore interview on G4tv.com talking about the Tiger PC game. Browser based with supposedly little to no downloads. Monthly fee plus micro transactions for courses and shit. When the interview turned towards madden he seemed to get annoyed and said that what they are doing with Tiger will head efforts for other sports titles. Mentions Fifa and NBA Street Online in Asia, nothing great but it looks like we may never get a full PC release again.

ill get some quotes and a link for ya
It’s going to be a subscription model. From base layers, and we haven’t really talked, but we’ve said this hybrid here. These subscriptions, micro-transactions, and ultimately looking at ways to bring more people in. Well, there maybe a free element to that. We’ve yet to determine it, but I think that the real key for us is figuring out – would you pay me $5 per month to have some level of access to all the assets
I don’t want you to have to download anything. I want you to click on a browser, have it recognize your password, and you’re ready to go.
But the online elements that we’ve built into this are "shit, I wish I had a better 9 iron." Well, for 50 cents I can get you a better 9 iron. Off you go. I mean, so we’re excited.
G4: Yea, but you can say the same thing for Madden, too. I mean, is this something you’d like to see brought across all of EA Sports?
Moore: Here’s what you do with these things…
G4: Because you haven’t had Madden on PC, ya know?
Moore: Don’t get me going there; you’re leaving soon. We always go out and you put something out there and you say “Okay we’re going to learn a lot here” because you’ve got to learn to publish these games in a very different way, because there’s nothing physical, right? So, you publish this very differently. How do I do offline management? How do I make sure that I’m doing something like on Friday nights I’m going to sell you Bethpage, who was in the US Open for 50% off? I mean, all this stuff is very new and unique to us. We’re going to learn a lot, we’re going to get ahead of the curve and then, yes, you can imagine if it works one sport, why wouldn’t it work for another? And of course, in Asia we already do. FIFA and NBA Street, we do in Asia. Very different. Deeper, not so much 15 minutes, but more 2 hours every night. I mean, imagine Tiger as leading the way, and then we’ll figure out what this thing’s all about and I’m sure more sports will ultimately follow.

Hmm...well, I can appreciate trying new things and all that, but when the market for the more traditional approach is still there...
Tue Jun 16, 2009 9:07 pm
I dont think we have a smilie to truly describe what it feels like
Tue Jun 16, 2009 9:24 pm
No, but that does set me up for this.

"There's no emoticon for what I'm feeling!"
So thank you.
Thu Jun 18, 2009 7:36 am
that means it won't be available anymore for the pc.
Thu Jun 18, 2009 10:26 am
Yes, quite right. I think most of us had that figured out.
Thu Jun 18, 2009 7:36 pm
these seem bad news..EA doesn't care 2 poor people at this moment...how about the users with weak video cards, how about the people who can't afford to buy X-Box 360 and PS3..take a look on 2k, these pc game requires a 512 MB of memory on video cards, i can't afford that..and i know some people in this forum too can't..or, am i the only one?

Gaming is an expensive hobby. Deal with it.

[sarcasm] So I guess modding 08 will take us to new heights and make it look like '10. [/sarcasm]
