Wow, we are so ignored.

Our lead AI engineer found a huge win early on in the project that basically improved our controller-input response across the board.

What did I say two years ago? There was something wrong with the response. You could see it everywhere from menu's to freethrows in 08 and 09.

Why are they sucking OS's nuts so hard this year?

Maybe it's got something to do with the criticism. We listened to the dev team the past two years by trying to move on to the 360/PS3 versions of the game even though there isn't really anything a community can do with NG Live aside from bitch about it.

...and that is what OS has done with Live for the past few years, just bitch cry and moan about how Live sucks. I guess our complaints hit a little too close to home since we know so much more about the game than the normal user...

so maybe they are catering to them, because including features from older games should be higher priority than doing minuscule improvements that this community has been "wishing" for for years.

This year is just an ugly mess. They didn't try to come in here and woo us to the console versions when 2k9 was announced for the PC. And they aren't really doing much of anything with us. It's kinda depressing now that I spell it out, but I'm sure in 2 months I won't give a crap about who talked to who and who interacted with who since it's an EA videogame.
Opinions are my own.

I think we're all for more participation here. I know some of the guys do lurk so if they're reading this, please feel free to jump in. We'd love the interaction. :)

As for the Q&A, updates to the fast break logic and the ability to catch up to players on the break sound good to me. That was certainly a problem in 09 with breaks falling apart when players ran to the wings and stopped at the three point line instead of continuing on to the basket. Since directional passing is reportedly better this year, that should also help greatly with fewer "I didn't want it to go there" turnovers being committed.

Presence of Go To Moves...good. They haven't been overpowering like FSS could be at times and they're a must for player individuality.

The shooting system sounds alright but I'm interested to learn more. I was a bit skeptical about going back to one button but if we're still got a decent level of control and contextually based moves are selected intelligently then it should be alright. As for defense, I certainly hope playing defense is fun and rewarding in 10 and 09 was alright in that regard but Lockdown Defense was bit too overpowering at times.

We don't get the NCAA/March Madness releases here in Australia, so I can't comment on those elements that have reportedly been brought over. Perhaps someone else can shed some more light on that and how well they've worked for NCAA Basketball.
