Lean's Graphics Gallery: Star Wars Model Kit Comps

Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

Alrighty, I made a full vector of a friend of mine but I'm still thinking if I'll post it here. She might find it weird to show the entire NLSC what I did.

Anyway, last Wednesday dawn I made the promotional poster (for nothing, as usual) of our thesis defense. Since my head is so blank because of being awake at dawn I came up with this design:

Resized for the love of 56k using IrfanView. The quality may have been reduced as well.

Image

In which this concept was also implied almost a year ago for my brother's movie project:

with CD sleeves:

That movie was submitted for the school's filmfest which apparently won best picture. I think the poster gave enough hype for it  .

*Bumps thread*

Some recent things I made:

Logo for our Thesis Exhibit (glad that nobody from the class contested it), took the Wrestlemania XXIV logo as inspiration:

And another wallpaper, with myself as subject:

How can you say your drawing skill is ahead of Lean's, when maybe the appearance of his drawing is just his preferred style but he's still capable of drawing differently from the "crap" he makes.

:cheeky:

Indeed, that's my style when drawing wacky-cartoonistic-people. Without the nose. That's just how I draw things like that. If that's the case, Cool2Fool, Shin-Chan should also look awkward to you.

I drew this Jedi guy that looks like me: (from the post above, just to say my point)

See, this guy has a nose.

Oh look, I have a thread!

So this ad came into the local stations here in the Philippines...

...and I thought of making a pic for a friend (and my target  ) that is based on the ad above, and after I made the first (and second) image I was swarmed with requests from others and asked if I could do the same on their photos. So I present to you, the new Power Rangers, in order of whose face was made first:

Though I didn't quite make it look exactly like the vectored stills in the ad. And to protect the identities of the girls, I won't post the real photos. (Y)

Thanks guys. :) But now, only just now, I noticed that the left arm of the girl in the first pic is off the border. Silly me.

I think I got them all look like themselves except for girl number 5. It's just that you can't do that kind of art with dimpled people.

... When you create a player with a ‘THICK’ build and place him on either the Bobcats or Thunder, the game will crash when entering the game.

That being said, we only have 5 existing players in the league who are ‘THICK’ builds:

Glen Davis
Shaquille O’Neal
Eddy Curry
Jerome James
Michael Sweetney

Workaround: Don’t put a ‘THICK’ build created player OR one of the above players on the Bobcats or Thunder and the game won’t crash.

Thanks for the kinds words guys. If ever I get to work with one of those girls in the clip, I'll take one home and make a family.

So here's what I'm currently up to. Not too much, but it's a progress anyway:

If this gets finished the way I wanted it to be, man I'll roll in happiness.
