NBA Live 08 PC Issues (Bug List & Information)

- CPU can shoot every where he want and made those shots
- There is still no Off. Fouls on cpu, thats really annoyng when cpu can drive your man down but no foul
- Whan simulating game ( 4 minutes for quater) none of your subs are playing! only starters...
- Rosters are bad- Overall's is bad.... I'm form Lithuania- Songaila- 60ovr, I think, that it should be min 65. He is good 3pt shooting, but in game 0!
Kleiza- 56 OVRl.!!!!! In 07 final rosters he was 68. In last nba game he scored 18 points,6 srebs, Pre-Season Game 32 points. Fuck that 56 ovrl. You cant do anything good with L.Kleiza. And Rookies- G.Oden 79, K.Durant77, I agree with that, but A.Tucker 86!!! Who is that Tucker? that is really really bad with rosters. I disagree with Tony's Parker 81 ovrl too.... I think he is better than taht looser Tucker And go to moves- Wade's go to move is shit you get Blocked, or you miss... I love tony's go to move by the way.

Turn the charge/block slider up to about 60/65, I get a good amount of charges called on both me and the cpu.

The CPU doesn't make substitutions when a player is in foul trouble.

to all people's who have crash in timeouts and end of a quater... i have a solution..

by changing settings...
my setting is:

lighting:on brightness:31
Reflections:on IngameRes:1024x768x32
CrowdAni:on Texture Filter:Bilinear(anisotropic Crashes in my game so i

changed to Bilinear)

triple buffer:off
Vsysnc:off

The rest put to high setting...have a nice game... the only major bug is simulating the game....

and i noticed in every team that has a high rating player who was the only pointer of the game like i played detriot and suns in detriot only rasheed wallace who only have a high point and he's ratings is 87...in suns two higher pointer amare and shawn...there ratings is 93...and also other team that i have played..and i was dissapointed... in every game that i have played there's so many turnovers...

there's any real setting?

I don't think that's the solution.. Just by an original copy and it's alright..

Btw, I found another bug with regards to the Camera.. When using the Sky Box camera, even when you adjust the Zoom Level the zoom level stays the same.. Hope EA can fix this..

2. Why there is no more PAYER LOCK ?? I loved to play like that. And I did since my 1st NBA Live version...

PLEASE, is it possible to turn 'player lock' option back?? :(

I noticed that some of the database have similar ID numbers although it wont guarantee that a fix on the numbers would result in a smooth game.

Thanks for the latest, I'll update the list. I've been keeping in touch with EA Sports with the latest developments and reported issues, as soon as I have any news on a fix I'll be sure to post it.

For now it looks as though the crashing is related to pirated copies of the game so I'll be taking that off the issues list.

I found another bug,.
In one on one game, when you random the away player 2times, it randoms the home player.. and vice versa.. I hope you add all the issues I have posted Andrew..

well most of my issues as far as game play and the dynasty mode have been addressed, so no use repeating it over and over, but like they said with the 3 pt shot and reg shots outside of the key being really difficult, it is extremely easy to get layups and dunks when ever i want with any player. I find thats pretty much the only way i can score consistently

Just a hopeful idea. There are many different players who have dbf values and even their own animation viv files for more sig shots and sig gtms. Can you add to the list for a patch to "enable" these additional sig shots and gtms? It is kinda out of all of our leagues to add those animations ourselves.

This first one can be attributed to bot NBA live 08 and 07... Crashes when making substitutions or after the first quarter, it actually did it less often in 07, I have yet to play a full game of 08 let alone advance past the first quarter. Very disappointed, and I cant take this back to the store I bought it from to get a refund.

Second the Utah Jazz scoreboard logos are STILL incorrect. I could deal with it in NBA Live 07 but this is ridiculous.
The logo still has the copper colors in the logo, the most recent logo has only blues and purple mountains.... THE NEW LOGO HAS BEEN IN PLACE SINCE THE 2005 SEASON.

Finally I bought this game because of the amazing screen shots that EA had posted. Still looks like 07 but the crowd looks a bit better.

is it normal? because my nba live 08 on my p.c always crash and then most of the players every games scores 40+ points...and tthen many big man take many 3 pointers.... i need your help

There is an error in my NBA Live 08. When I call a timeout a bug comes out.

My nba 08 crashes when I try to play online, anyone else eperience this problem? Can the above mentioned bugs can be fixed or do we need to replace our current game?
