@andrew just want to ask if you have change charlie bell's position from sg/sf to sg/pg or pg/sg (since he is more of a combo guard)
thank you..
Wed Sep 26, 2007 10:45 am
I can't recall if I made that change, I had him as a SG/SF last year since he was listed as the starting small forward in the boxscores but since the Bucks have more depth at that position this year with Simmons returning, Mason newly signed and Yi possibly seeing time there as well I agree that Bell would be better served as a SG/PG or PG/SG. Thanks for the heads up.

@andrew no problem.. i too know he plays SF but thats is rarely. The reason I asked this is that if he ever sign with miami or any other team he would probably play pg/sg.
thank you again for the roster updates...

Why is Rajon Rondo from Celtics so underrated? Above all in steals and rebounds?! He's the second best PG rebounder behind Jason Kidd in rebounds per 48 minutes, he has most steals per 48 minutes. I don't understand it at all. You don't like Celtics? They have PP, RA, KG - all rated about 90. After that is Posey with 73-75, that's OK. But every other player under 70? You are kidding? Scott Pollard 61?

I have no prejudice against the Celtics or any other team in the league when it comes to doing the roster updates. As I've said many times in the past though, I do not focus on the overall rating but rather the individual ratings and as such will not boost or lower ratings simply so the overall looks "better". If you've got some specific suggestions about those players' ratings though then by all means let me know.

Bruins, update yourself it

Yap, I do update everytime.
OK my suggestion is that Rondo is best ballstealer in the league so his STEALING rating should be at least 90. Read this - Rondo led the NBA in steals per 48 minutes with 3.36 last season. Named to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team, he also ranked fourth in the NBA in steals per turnover with 0.93 and finished 10th in the NBA with 128 steals in 2006-07, despite playing just 23.5 minutes per game. Add that he was best ballstealer in the university and high school, so this NBA season wasn't some ''he was lucky'' - I think he deserves way more than rating 70

Than look on his rebound stats (mainly his last 20-30 games, when he started to play more MPG), he's PG and he had 14 (13 defensive) rebounds against San Antonio with Duncan in paint! Let's see his rebound abilitity in your rosters - 20/30? That makes me laugh

. This is not a critique, it's a suggestion, Thank you.

I don't like to place too much stock in per 48 minute averages because they don't prove a player would be averaging that many points or that many steals if they were to play 48 minutes but I agree that 70 is a bit low for Rondo so I will take another look at his stealing rating. His rebounding numbers are great for a 6'1" point guard who's on playing about half the game so I'll definitely be reviewing those ratings as well.
Thanks for the feedback, as I said I don't have any prejudice against the Celtics, it's just that there's over 400 players in the league so sometimes players get overlooked. If you have any more suggestions, by all means post them.

OK, thank you very much, keep doing good work on rosters

PS: I hope Rondo will be at least STEALER - SUPERSTAR - even with his MPG he was 10th of all players on all steals per seson - and there's definitely more than 10 players rated as STEALING SUPERSTAR in your roster now. He should be among them.

Keep an eye on this guy.

Hi Andrew, is there a problem with the link or is filefront.com just down at this time? i cannot download the rosters with this message:

and how do i install the official NBA Live 07 patch from EA Sports before i can use these rosters?
thanks and best regards

As far as I can see the download link should be working fine. Perhaps Filefront was having some temporary issues.
You'll need to download the official update (you can find it in our Downloads section) and run the .exe file included in the archive to apply the official patch. You can then install the NLSC roster update as normal, though the order in which you install them shouldn't matter.

Appreciate that, thank you.

hi just want to update you (if you haven't read or hear it yet). Aaron Mckie (La lakers) has retired and signed with 76ers as assistant coach.
Thanks for the update and for sure v1.15 will have a lot of updates and roster addition because of the training camp going on. Some teams have signed some old and new players.
Thanks again

Additional update
New York waives Dan Dickau.
Memphis waives Kasib Powell.
Indiana waives Darrell Armstrong.
Hope not disturb the post with this information

I do keep up with the latest transactions (it would defeat the purpose of updating the rosters if I didn't!) but thanks for the info all the same.
