Here's my 2013 chicago bulls

Fri Sep 28, 2007 1:55 am

C-A-bynum-85-power and inside stopper, in one year he went from 61 to 70 overall one or two years
C-C-kaman-80
Pf-D-howard-96
pf-n-kristic-75
sf-l-james-99
sf-smarin- computer rookie pretty good off the bench and sometimes will get me 14 this is all simulation no gameplay or intervention
sf-w-mitchell-78 computer rookie will probably never get a chance to start until when james gets too old and then i'll probably trade him for two people when he 29 or 30
sg-m-webster-81 he's a shooter now
sg-b-moreno-77 computer rookie
sg-s-vujaric-70 when his contract expires i probably won't resign him
sg-r-butler-66 sometime somehow i just got to get the time to train him he has good potential
pg-j.ricci-85 my favorite player on othe team he's and outside stopper and in his rookie year he averaged and still does average 20+ ppg he was the rookie of the year
pg-t-hyomer his starting overall this year was 60 it may be a while before i train him again i really want to get my backup small forwards higher.
I've really enjoyed this dynasty and i'm going to stick with this one for a long time, mainly because of bynum i trained bynum before to 70 but never to 80+ like he is now i did not know he had excellent potential like this he could probably go as high as 90. Its january and we're 20-11 we started out the season really bad because of a two week road trip but some how we started winning. We've been to two eastern conference finals but couldn't get over that hump until last year where we went to the finals and lost. My assistants in offense defense and athletics all have at least an a they're not all a+'s because i couldn't afford all a+'s, my assistant head coach throughout this dynasty has always had at least an a- developement grade but i never had a training assistant head coach i don't think i've ever had a specialty either. This is my best and longest dynasty ever.

Can that happen

what do you mean? If its about bynum it could. If you train him hard enough.

Thu Oct 04, 2007 9:49 am

Here's my method of training, for example with bynum i trained him in offensed, defense and athletics. At first i was just training him, and at the end of every month his overall changed, i had at least an a in offense defense and athletics.

Wed Oct 10, 2007 2:12 am

Probably very ignorant of me, but how can you focus on training one player the way you did with Bynum? Also, what percent of the free time did you assign to training?

Wed Oct 10, 2007 6:00 am

Oh no it was like that, i was focus on him and dwight howard, but as far as time here's how it went. Now first, all of my assistant had at least an a, for example one assistant had an a in offense and his other two specialties wern't that good and so forth. A def and a athletics. For one month i would train bynum with all three assistant, i would train him with one assistant in offense, the other assistant in defense, and the other assistant in athletics and at almost every results day his overall changed. I use 100 percent offense, 100 percent defense, and 100 percent athletics. His overall went from 60 something to 70 in two years i remember now. When you traihn a person with 100 percent in all three abilities, for one month almost every month you do it his overall will change by the time results day comes by unless it changes before results day. I don't do 50 50 any more, but i didn't just train bynum i trained one or two other people as well it wasn't until years later though many years later that bynum had an overall of 85. I wish i had proof but i don't have access to a camara. Remember now though, its easy to train bynum to become an inside stopper for he can already block if you check his blocking stats. I may do this again today with live 08 with either bynum or some 60's guy like reddick or somebody. I have 08 and in a few minutes i'm going to do a dynasty with some team, i don't know if it'll be a fantasy draft or what the real team, but, today i'm going to train someone hard maybe one to three people and keep you guys posted on how its going. In live 08.

"Clevlend Wins", how do you focus the training on one person and not the whole squad?

Thu Oct 11, 2007 4:12 am

I just did that with bynum in year one and part of two but parts of year two and for the rest of the dynasty i did focus on other players, almost the whole squad. I just wanted to see how far bynum could improve

Thu Oct 11, 2007 4:30 am

How do you technically focus on one player? I don't know how to do that...

Thu Oct 11, 2007 7:30 am

That's just something i use to do, for 1 month depending on who the player is i would just train him for the month if he already has an overall of 70. But if he's something like 66 or 67 such as jj redick, i would train him until he becomes 70, i want at least 80 percent of my players to have an overall of 70. I only train players 2 weeks at a time though, every two weeks the same player, but now in 08 i train various players and in my recent laker dynasty i trained everyone except for kb, i think the only person that may not have had results that i don't remember having any results was chris mihm. For example if you just focus on one player, and if you can afford two assistants, like if you have a rebounding assistant and a defensive assistant, you can you one assistant to train the player in one or two abilities, and the other assistant with the same player in one or two abilities. ITs best though to train the whole team, even the old guys like someone elese said so that they won't start to decline. Get assistants who have good grades, perferably, for example one assistant would have at least an a in offense, the other assistant would have an a in defense, and the third assistant if you can afford one he would have an a in athletics. To get three assistant i always now unless i have 3mil dollars, i would get the cheapest scout, trainer and assistant head coach. Then you'll have enough money for those three quality assistants.

I have Redick too, and in a year he improved by only 2 point. Tyrus Thomas, on the other hand, improved by 6! I did as you recommended. Now I have one assistant who is A grade (A offense, A+ defense and A+ athletics) and a C grade assistant with A in offence. Another question, did you ever trade draft picks? I never seem to succeed in it... I'm trying to acquire good first round picks.

Sat Oct 13, 2007 7:54 am

i never traded draft picks with that dynasty but i have traded draft picks and had several one time. If you have jj redick, then you could probably only trade him for a second rounder, but make sure its on a bad team team, and that the team has cap space, jj redick in 07 is like between 2 and 3 million dollar i think. I think the computer wants young players with 67 and above overalls for their draft picks, and most of the time you can only trade in january or feburary. So make sure you get young player with at least a 67 overall who are either rookies or 1 year pros and train them and by the time jan or feb comes around you'll be able to trade them for the computer's draft picks especially 2nd rounders. They might accept a first rounder, or what you could do is, trade a young player and your second round pick for a first round pick i did that once or twice. But its hard.

Mon Oct 15, 2007 6:37 am

Redick is 72 now (with superstar shooter) so I don't want to trade him. I really want a good first round pick, though.

Tell me who's on your team and i'll try to tell you if you can get one.
