I think it's for the best, that'll probably turn out corny. Like the previous Batman films.

Nice updated pic of Joker. Notice how the skin on the cheeks which are painted red are somehow scars or something. If any of you have read the comics, Joker was shot by a Batman impersonator, and was put in surgery. As a result, he now has a very permanent smile.
His new smile could be seen in his Wikipedia article, but they've removed it. Oh well.

Fanboys removed that part in Wiki as not to spoil the movie because it's rumored to be a critical part, that's how protective Batman fanboys are.

he is pretty much the most important member imo. he is the one with the plans on how to stop every other member incase they go bad.

He does that for his own purposes though not because the JL told him to. He somewhat fears those superpowered sonuvabitches when they go berserk on some occasions. Even Green Lantern (Hal Jordan) considers Batman more dangerous than Superman.
